Excellent experience My husband was driving a 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport with 241,000 miles on it. It "gave up the ghost" in mid July (fortunately as he was starting his vac My husband was driving a 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport with 241,000 miles on it. It "gave up the ghost" in mid July (fortunately as he was starting his vacation). I researched quite a few cars for him and finally narrowed it down to the Kia Sportage and the Honda CR-V. We went into Island Kia and were met by our salesperson, Andrew Winslow, who showed us both the Sportage as well as the roomier Sorento, patiently answering all our questions. Surprisingly (to us at least) the larger Sorento made more sense and was a better deal. Andrew was extremely knowledgeable about these two models and I'm sure just as knowledgeable about the others. His enthusiasm and willingness to satisfy us was definitely a plus in our car buying experience. I would recommend Andrew to anyone! What a great asset to a fine dealership! From the moment we made our decision to the moment we drove off the lot, the process couldn't have been easier or more straightforward. I am very happy with my experience at Island Kia and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this dealership. On another note, as another reviewer stated, we were greeted warmly and enthusiastically by Nick, Carl and Anthony as soon as we walked through the door, but that warmth was present beforehand when we met the porter Derek on the lot as he was sprucing up the vehicles. He greeted us and directed us toward the entrance. I would be remiss if I didn't also thank John Morgan, the finance manager, who helped us get the best deal possible. Thank you Island Kia for a wonderful experience! More
