Terrible Service Department, Worst Ever This has got to be the Worst Service Department on the planet, I would give it 0 stars if I could. I made an appointment to have my 2015 Jeep Reneg This has got to be the Worst Service Department on the planet, I would give it 0 stars if I could. I made an appointment to have my 2015 Jeep Renegade check because of a check engine light and they didn't have an appointment until a month later. I went in to get my check engine light fixed, they said it was fixed and I shouldn't have a problem with it anymore, they were wrong about that. I picked it up and that same night the check engine light came back and I tried to call them and tell them no answer on their phones again what else is new. Someone finally called me back and said that someone will contact me, no body ever contacted me. So, I called back no answer again of course. Then, all of a sudden the check engine light went away so I was like ok good, but then it came back. So, this check engine light keeps going away and coming back. The check engine is the same problem because I went to Auto Zone just to get their machine to see why the check engine is on and it's the same reason as the original. Every time I call them I never get through, it just keeps ringing and ringing. Then, when you finally do get through they are very nasty on the phone but I still haven't been able to get through. Then, I had a chat with someone online and they said they will let them know right away and someone will call you me right away. That was 3 days ago I'm still waiting for a call back. Now of course the check engine came back on this month and I need my car to get inspected this month and I can't do that with the check engine light on. The thing that stinks is that the sales department is really great, but I will never buy or lease a car again from this dealer because of their terrible service department. More

After they had my jeep 12 days they couldn't diagnose it, When I when to pick up the jeep and spoke with the service manager he heard the problem and said he would call Chrysler to open a ticket. Well, that was weeks ago and I have left five or six messages and no one calls back. I even left a message with Mike Farrell over two weeks ago and still no call back. When you try to reach the service dept they just put you on hold or disconnect you. I have bought a few new vehicles in my life and this dealership is the absolute worst in their customer service let alone incompetent in the ability to repair a brand new Jeep. SO BUYERS BEWARE and go somewhere else More

First day of pickup i was able to drive it home, second day absolutely no cool air coming out. Called to get the car fixed, they couldnt see me untii the following week mind you the car has 7 miles on it, they should have been apologizing up and down for this to be happening. I get the car in, they said a wire was not connecte, i am ready to go, for 2 weeks, we heard hissng sounds, like something was coming out of the vents,mind you i have 3 small kids and we hear this sound, we call again on june 19th, they couuldnt get my truck until July 10th, pretty scary to know that so many dodge cars need to be cared for. So what i have learned is i woud never ddeal wiith dodge again. Oh and i also realized upon reading the reviews that the manager has apologized regarding some of the bad reviews. Heres a little pointer rather than write apologies, call people back, as i left 4 yes 4 messages for the manager to call back with no call back. Its a shame your supposed to enjoy your new vehicle but you can't because its in for service twice in less than a month. Island dodge should have taken care of this probem. a phone call was already submitted to headquarters. Doctors have already been aware of the hissiing and aroma coming out of my vents. This is a serious matter that ISLAND DODGE just threw under the carpet. Made a sale, and moved on to a next victim. More

This guy should have done the diagnostic check and he would have found out it was a stress fracture to the wind shield,like I thought. Instead we got into a shouting match,which almost got physical, on his part. Now,I had the threat of the whole garage jumping me. This guy should look for another line of work. When I leased my second jeep at your showroom,it was a great experience. Joe Smith was very professional and pleasant. I brought my jeep patriot to get windshield fixed and Richmond glass told me it was a stress fracture. I never should have had to pay for this. I called Jeep Chrysler and let them know how I was treated. I will never lease or buy from Island corp. again. More
Lease Return I previously leased my Jeep Grand Cherokee from a dealership on the east end of Long Island.My lease was ending at the end of January 2017.My wife has I previously leased my Jeep Grand Cherokee from a dealership on the east end of Long Island.My lease was ending at the end of January 2017.My wife has been ill,and requires frequent trips to various medical laboratories.I asked if Island Chrysler Jeep Dodge would allow me to turn in my car to them instead of the original Jeep dealership.This act of kindness,and professionalism saved me from a long,lengthy ride,not having to have another driver ferry me back and forth,as well as me not being able to attend to my wife's needs for essentially an entire day!! Incompetant Just fpr a Key reprogram On November 25th my husband brought his Grand Cherokee in for a recall appointment. At that appointment he informed that his key fob was working inc On November 25th my husband brought his Grand Cherokee in for a recall appointment. At that appointment he informed that his key fob was working inconsistantly. They re=programmed the key fob. They job was done and he left. Approximately 2 weeks later I was attempting to use the Grand Cherokee and MY key fob wouldnt work.After calling the service department they told us that both keys needed to be re-programmed at the same time.Obviously no one mentioned that when his key was being re-programmed! The next available day my husband could get back to the service department was December 21st and he was told that they couldnt re-program my original key fob, a new fob would have to be ordered and they would call him when it came in-approximately a day or two.(Why didn't the person on the phone tell him that when he called!) Not 15 minutes after my husband left the service department a gentleman from the service depatment called me and asked if my husband could he come back because they left an expenssive diagnostic tool in his car. He complied although inconvenient be cause he was on his way to a heart diagnostic procedure. Ten days passed, no call about the key fob so he called and they told him the key fob was available. He went down there this morning. He was told it would take approximately an hour and AFTER WAITING AN HOUR he was told they key fob WASNT IN! A total waste of his time and an inconvenience of more than a month for us to have only one working fob. I wish he would have kept they expensive diagnostic tool and held it hostage until we got the key fob! Incompetnt! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! More

First recall they fixed 2 of the 4 windows they were supposed to fix, second time they fixed one of the two windows they were supposed to fix and then broke my back door handle and shoved all the broken pieces inside the door...and now the latest brought to them with a broken control arm that was yet another recall they fixed in 2013 and they say it's not broken....had two REAL mechanics tell and SHOW ME the broken control arm....they tried to pass it off as a broken sway bar which was NOT broken....they lie RIGHT TO YOUR FACE.....luckily for me this time they did ONE thing right...they put their lies right on their letterhead for me....this will prove to be the ONLY good thing they have done..... TRUST ME WHEN I tell you RUN don't walk away from these crooks....don't buy anything there and take your recalls as far away from this place as you can! I have never seen such incompetent dishonest people in my life More

Long story short they claimed to have fixed it about a couple weeks later my Ac stopped working and I was furious. I called to go back to have them look at it and they told me I had to wait 2 weeks for an appointment "are you kidding me". I called Island auto and the receptionist was pleasant she gave me an appointment within the same week.
