ANOTHER TRANSPARENT DEAL WITH SEAN I have dealt with Sean directly since 2006 on a lease and buyout of prior vehicle. When this particular dealer changed hands at one point that kind o I have dealt with Sean directly since 2006 on a lease and buyout of prior vehicle. When this particular dealer changed hands at one point that kind of held me back from upgrading to a new vehicle sooner thinking Sean might not still be there with New Management in charge. I happened to go on website last Thursday evening looking around and was delighted to discover Sean was still there. That upgrade decision became a quick reality in a few days with a visit Saturday to see him to discuss and a pick up today of brand new 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited . Sean is certainly an asset to Island Chrysler Jeep Dodge and wise management decision keeping him as an employee. Wish him continued success and was great seeing him. More

Over charged for service Just a fair warning to consumers. One thing I hate the most, is when you feel you are being taken advantaged of by a mechanic. This dealer service dep Just a fair warning to consumers. One thing I hate the most, is when you feel you are being taken advantaged of by a mechanic. This dealer service department, although nice enough to get you to have recalls fixed, I don't think are doing right by their customers. My husband brought his 2014 (so not old at all!) Jeep in to have recalls fixed and after talking with the service department walked away with an over 500 dollar bill for spark plugs, air filters, transmission fluid and rotation of tires. Now I am a woman who doesn't know much about cars but I do know that spark plugs and air filters do not cost that much! I also know that 2 hrs of work on a car to rotate tires and change fluids does not warrant a 500 dollar bill either. I am disappointed in this kind of wheel and deal service. I have never really written a review on any site but I felt compelled to save someone else a 500 dollar bill. Do your research before bringing your car to Island Jeep's service department, so you don't feel like you've been ripped off. I know dealerships have to make money but to me it's still wrong to hurt the consumer, especially loyal ones. What's more , I have leased 4 cars from Manfredi so I've been that loyal customer for the last 10 yrs... I just had my mother lease a jeep with Island ( Joe Smith was the salesman and he I would recommend even with all this)even being annoyed... He was honest at least) and am disappointed and don't know if I'd be back or recommend Island Jeep after this dealing with their service department tactics. Because if you have this type of service department , it leaves a sour taste in your mouth for the Island car dealerships in general. In this day of age when so many people take advantage of others....Do the right thing in business by your customers. Don't take advantage of lack of knowledge or being naive. You will go further in your business with integrity. More

Worst service dept on Staten island Tried to charge me $1500 for a water pump & trans pan. After laughing manager called me back & said $800. Turns out car only needed water pump. Same Day Service! Went in hoping for a new Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude and although they did not have it on the lot as I was initially told, they took the time to have Went in hoping for a new Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude and although they did not have it on the lot as I was initially told, they took the time to have it driven over from another dealership in less than an hour. Joe Smith was outstanding! When my husband and I decided we wanted a Jeep- Joe Smith was highly recommended so we decided to make our jeep purchase through Joe Smith. Joe was phenomenal, knowledgeable, friendly, extremely helpful and he made our jeep buying experience effortless. Once we were in finance it became a little heated, my husband left the finance office and had a talk with Joe Smith-who was able to save our deal. Joe is a great guy who was not pushy, overbearing or too aggressive in any way. Because of Joe Smith, who we highly recommend we give this dealership 5 stars all around!
