Sure enough, not one but both rear bearings had failed. Bob, the service rep, kept me informed and during the visit I also got the latest oil change and four new fires, something I expected at this time. The service department has consistently done a great job of keeping our vehicle on the road (currently over 197,000 miles!!) by maintaining it and at the same time pointing out potential problems and suggesting repairs that should be done. When the transmission began exhibiting symptoms of serious problems, Lloyd Miles and Jeff Peterson did an exceptional job of diagnosing the problems and ultimately determining that we needed the transmission to be replaced. And, as luck would have it, the vehicle was still covered by our Ford Extended Warranty. Needless to say, I strongly recommend Irwin for the great service that they provide. More
