I was very pleased with the service on my vehicle this week. There was a recall that had to be done and also a regular service/oil change. We used to have a better experience here, but there aren’t as many perks as there used to be. We brought our car in for major service, along with two other issues. We spent over $3,000. When we went to pick it up, we requested the car be washed, which we were told to remind them of this the day of pickup. There was a lot of pushback about washing the car as they used to, they said for sure they wouldn’t vacuum. Once we got there, we noticed that one of the issues had not been repaired as we had requested. So the car needed to stay in the shop longer and they needed to order parts. Once the car was ready for pickup (the second time), we noticed that the carpet in our car had been ripped up in order to install a seat part. It looked like a dog chewed up a stuffed animal behind the driver’s seat. No one bothered to vacuum up the mess that was made from installation. And finally, we had asked for them to fix the windows not rolling up. They informed us there wasn’t actually anything wrong with them. When we received the car, there was a delay in rolling the windows up and the problem had gotten even worse since the time we dropped off our car. And finally, when we picked up the car we were left with an empty gas tank. Our tank was about 3/4 full when we dropped it off and the gas light came on on the way home from the shop. Hopeful to have a better experience next time. It’s really hard to keep driving back and forth to the dealership and exchanging kids car seats from car to car when the job hasn’t been done or done correctly. Also, when someone pays thousands for service, the least that can be done is leaving the customer with a semi clean car. We received our car in worse condition than when we dropped it off. More
