Very pleasantly surprised with how good the service was. My 2016 Forester screen/head-unit was stuck on a reboot cycle for months. Irvine Subaru offered to do an inspection and attempt a software update a My 2016 Forester screen/head-unit was stuck on a reboot cycle for months. Irvine Subaru offered to do an inspection and attempt a software update at no charge. When that failed, they offered to replace the head-unit for $250 (including service), which is much better than the ~$2000 it seems to cost other mechanics to do this job (mainly because a new unit is expensive, but also for the labor). Irvine Subaru said it may take months for the new head-unit to arrive, but it arrived in a couple of weeks. Overall, stellar experience. Plus, while they worked on my car they were able to give me a ride to and from my home! They were also very kind in explaining every step along the way. More
