The service advisor that checked us in was so rude. Never said hello never addressed us. When we asked a question about our car his response was “I wouldn’t know I don’t drive a Subaru and I never woul Never said hello never addressed us. I arrived at 9am for a 9:15 appointment to have the battery checked. It was found to be bad and needed to be replaced. At 10:34am, I received a call to say it was ready. I was not too happy about the wait. I completed the paperwork and paid and then waited for my car to be brought up. I waited and waited, then went back inside to ask where my car was. It was discovered that it was not ready! The bolt on the negative terminal had sheared off and a new bolt was being obtained from Santa Ana! I was offered a loaner and eventually left the dealership at 11:15am. Why did I have to wait so long for a battery replacement and why was I told it was ready when it was not? I have always enjoyed excellent service from Irvine Subaru but I was disappointed this time. More

I'm a long time customer, but this was the worst service I have ever had. Poor communication, no one came to update me, and I was treated poorly from the phone call to the exit ticket. I've written a commendation directly to the dealership already, but another is warranted. Leo was my service writer, and his attention to detail, level of communication, and concern for my problem was ex already, but another is warranted. I was pretty upset when I went to the dealership because I was "on the road" from Central California to San Clemente -- I really didn't have time for a problem.
