I will start with this is the worst experience one person could have trying to purchase a vehicle, as well as being a complete waste of time, not to mention the complete breach of my personal data! I will file with the BBB after this- I first contacted the sales department via email Thursday morning letting them know I was interested in a vehicle- Thursday morning they replied for scheduling- I explained that I was an out of town customer and wanted to take advantage of the purchase online and delivery- From that point the conversation went south, the manager on duty explained fees, tried to detour me from delivery and the abruptly replied that he would return my call. I filled out the application, received the customary “your approved” letter and thought surely a call back any minute would happen, No- I emailed with the application number, nothing, emailed again, nothing, called, nothing, called again, a text, asking me to do the entire process over? I text back and give my submission application numbers, nothing- I call they transfer me to Alex? Nothing called again, Alex? Nothing- so I emailed and simply asked what is the best way to communicate? Monday, rolls around I am able to get a person however they divert me to Alex H. voicemail, 2 messages later, I receive a warm email stating they would be with me promptly- then a text asking me for specifics of the car I was interested in, I, for the 15th time gave the stock number, make, model and year of the vehicle- reply-no, nothing all day! Tuesday I gave it one more chance, called, diversion Alex H, voicemail- so I wrote an email explaining I would be taking my business elsewhere - Indy man autos, responded with being short handed excuses nothing but disregard for the fact that I am trying to do business, have limited time to accommodate the lack of response, the over reaching services they claim to have but not enough personnel as well as the fact that they are now in control of my personal/ financial information. At the end of business on Thursday of the next week they chose to text me and inform me that the car I was inquiring about was sold? Thanking me for my interest? The interesting fact of the situation is we all know some one, my some one referred me to this place, which couldn’t have been a thought to the sales force of Indy man auto group. Please if you value your time, information and dignity, buyer beware if the upfront service is this bad, disrespectful, disregarding and uninterested with a motivated buyer how will they treat another, a potential customer or perhaps a bad vehicle purchase? More
Updating my ratings Because my overall experience was wonderful!! Indy Auto Nan was guest to respond to my inquiry and going in person and not judging how the vehicle viewed on Line I would have missed wonderful!! Kevin Dunn I have dealt with many dealerships over the years. I have always been given false information or have been pressured. I contacted Indy Auto Man by w I have dealt with many dealerships over the years. I have always been given false information or have been pressured. I contacted Indy Auto Man by website on a vehicle I was interested in that seemed to good of a deal to be true. Immediately Brittney contacted me and gave me all the information I needed. I texted her that night reminding them that I would be in the next day. She contacted me first thing in the morning and shortly after Kevin texted me that he would be helping me that day. He was waiting for me when I arrived. He was very up front regarding the vehicle and had everything ready for me to go for a 3rd party inspection. I remained in contact with him all day and he was very quick to answer all of my texts and phone calls. As promised, there were no hidden issues with the vehicle and I proceeded directly to my bank. Kevin had everything faxed over and waiting for me to purchase the vehicle. Kevin was waiting for me when I returned to the dealership and had everything ready to go. He even got my new vehicle detailed after normal hours. Kevin and Indy Auto Man made this the best buying experience that I have ever had. I will definitely be contacting them again and asking for Kevin if I am ever in need of a vehicle. Kevin went out of his way in many areas to make sure this was the best buying experience that I have ever had. More
