Very Satisfied I recently purchased a car at Indy Auto Man and when I got home I found that the car had a leak. Not impressed So I'm from Illinois and was looking for very specific car and found it after 3 months of looking at the Indy Auto Man. I was so excited and called th So I'm from Illinois and was looking for very specific car and found it after 3 months of looking at the Indy Auto Man. I was so excited and called them immediately. I was unable to get over and pick the car up for about a week, so they told me I had to pay a non refundable retainer fee of $700.00. No big deal, so I threw that on my card and had the rest in cash to hand them when I got there. Sweet right? Wrong! I got there a week later and was unsatisfied with the overall condition of the car. Even after hours of driving I would have been satisfied if they had refunded my $700.00 and I would have been on my way. However they said they had multiple people visit they're lot looking to buy the car but couldn't sell because I had money down on it. When they told me I could walk without the car but also without my retainer fee {to their credit they told me it was non refundable} to say the least I was very upset. Especially after they told me they had multiple people try to buy it in a weeks time. It's not like they we're gonna have an issue getting rid of it. At that point I tried to negotiate a lower price {seeing that the car was overpriced in the first place, had I taken it off the lot and totaled it that day I would have had to eat over a $1000.00 as insurance companies don't care if you overpay, only the value of the car. Anyways keep in mind that I was handing them cash to pay for the car. They said there was no wiggle room for them, {LIE!, if you're a car dealer that has no wiggle on price than you're already out of business!} In light of all that, instead of handing them $700.00 and walking away I bought the car. That is not the end of my frustration. I returned home and 2 weeks passed and I still hadn't received the title to my car. So I called them asking what was going on. After getting the run around for a while I finally got an answer. Ready for this? They sold me a car that they didn't have a clean and clear title on!!! They did finally get things straightened out after I had called multiple times over a two week span. I got the title 3 days before my temp. plate expired. All in all this was one of the worst car buying experiences of my life. For a dealership that boasts about being 'Used Car Dealer of the Year" of Indiana multiple years running, I couldn't tell you how they achieved that. Hey maybe my situation was a random event for them, but what if it wasn't? Good luck. And to the jerk manager that sits behind Pat, please dude you said you've been in the game for over 10 years!? What do you think everyone was born yesterday? You look just outta college and as arrogant as I was when I was 15 years old! That is all. More

Great experience! I was looking for a new-ish car with excellent gas mileage, and something that would be fun to drive. I came across Indy Auto Man through a few sites I was looking for a new-ish car with excellent gas mileage, and something that would be fun to drive. I came across Indy Auto Man through a few sites like AutoTrader and Cars.com. At first the reviews seemed to give an iffy vibe so I went to check the place out and look at the car I was interested in. I was very pleasantly surprised by how quickly and friendly everyone was and how helpful the process was. I am VERY please with my car and the experience. I was hoping to negotiate the price because my down payment was so high, but honestly for what the car was worth and for the Mileage that it had it was a steal. Overall, I would purchase a car from them again, and I would definitely recommend them. More
