My wife and I saw a Prius on line listed at Indy Auto Man. Even though it was a rainy Thursday, she was off school and we needed a car, so off to 4031 S. East Street. We were greeted by Dmitry and explained that we wanted to look at a Prius. He said he had three of them, "which one were you interested in?" " I guess all three". He smiled and invited us to have a cup of coffee while he got the keys and plates. Dmitry stood by our side in a steady downpour while we poked around inspecting and eventually driving the cars. He never complained or looked put out answering all of our questions and telling us things we would never have thought of. We picked a car, made and offer and within 2 minutes a handshake from the owner Victor saying we had a deal. Please stop in here if you need a car and hate the thought of shopping. I called their toll free number and w I recommend IndyAutoMan and Jeff Hunter (Sales) I found my Audi from IndyAutoMan's Autotrader for sale post. I called their toll free number and was referred to Jeff Hunter. Over the next few days, he and I chatted over the phone to work out the logistics of the sale. I live in St. Louis and would be driving in to Indianapolis to test drive, take the vehicle to an independent mechanic for a second opinion, and ultimately purchase the vehicle. This would all be needed to be done the same day because I was taking a day off work and needed to back in St. Louis so that I can resume work the following day. So the plan was to for me to be there when IndyAutoMan opened at 9:30, sign some preliminary paperwork, take the vehicle to Ray Skillmans for a complete used car inspection ( takes several hours for a comprehensive check ), sign, and be on the road home by 4 PM. You know what they say about the best laid plans... As I was in the process of driving the Audi off the lot to go to Skillman's for the vehicle inspection, I noticed that the engine coolant light was on. The coolant level was almost empty and there was coolant leaking onto the parking lot. Knowing that I was pressed for time, they immediately took the Audi in, diagnosed the issue, and fixed the problem free of charge. Turns out that the O-rings for the new coolant pump they installed the previous day had failed and was spewing out coolant. In the process, their team went above and beyond what was expected to accommodate me; running out to an auto-parts dealer 40 minutes away to get the correct O-ring and installing it the same day. Even though everything was fixed the same day, this 5 hour delay caused me to miss my Ray Skillman appointment. The purchase agreement was for the sale of the car in the "As Is" state so as you can imagine I was very concerned. I had just potentially driven 4 hours to Indianapolis, spent 5 hours there longer than I expected too, and was looking forward to another 4 hour drive back to St. Louis. I would be coming home empty handed. This where Jeff and IndyAutoMan stepped in and went above and beyond what I expected. Without an independent inspection, if I was too uncomfortable to take possession of vehicle immediately, he offered to hold on to the vehicle overnight, get it checked out by another service facility on my behalf, and split to cost of an auto-transport from Indianapolis to St. Louis. My other option was to take possession of the vehicle, drive it back to St. Louis, get it inspected locally in St. Louis, and they would 30-day warranty any engine or cooling system related issue that may pop up in a later inspection. Remember, I was purchasing the vehicle "As is". I choose to take possession of the vehicle and I drove my new (used) car back to St. Louis. On Friday of the same week, I took the vehicle to an authorized Audi dealership in St. Louis and the vehicle passed inspection with flying colors. Buying a used vehicle online and from another state is a big risk. As a buyer, you have to do your due diligence to make sure you know what what you are getting yourself into. Be realistic in your expectations and have contingencies for when things go wrong. With that said, I was still very pleasantly surprised when Jeff and team went out of their way to make things right with me. Even though they are two states away from me, I would definitely consider Jeff Hunter from IndyAutoMan next time I am in the market for a vehicle. More

Nice experience I purchased my vehicle in January 2016. This was a very nice experience, and the first time a dealer actually "did" what they said they would do. What I mean by that is, the vehicle I purchased needed a few item, new wiper blades, rear wiper arm and blade and the passenger door speaker was missing. They ordered these items and had them within days. They also called me to make sure I was happy with my purchase. I never felt any pressure to buy. I didn't realize at the time, but this dealer used to be in Carmel Indiana and is where my son bought his car the previous year. I was with him when he purchased his vehicle and that was a pleasant experience as well. I will be buying my next vehicle with them as well. More
