They told my daughter that she needed a brake fluid flush, so we did it. After their service department did the brake fluid flush and also inspected my daughter's car with a 100% pass. Me daughter got into a serious car accident do to "you guessed it, BRAKE FAILURE" the Police report wrote it up as no ones fault because they saw it was a brake failuer. Her car only has 12,000 miles on it. We called the dealer and asked them what they would do about it and they say nothing. They tried to tell me that brake bad failure had nothing to do with a brake line fluid flush. I did not get into argument with them because quite frankly they are xxxxxxx. The Emergency brake works perfectly. And if you know anything about mechanics, you'd know that emergencybrake is hooked up to the brake pads and thus if the emergency brake work, SO DO THE BRAKE PADS! Also if these xxxxxxx knew anything about the Mazda 3 (which they are supposed to since they are a Mazda Service and dealer, they would also know that the Mazda 3 has a very special braking system, it is called a split system. A split system is designed so that if you had brake failure DO TO A BLOW OUT OF A BRAKE LINE you would only lose 50% of your braking power! So with this said, THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN HAVE TOTAL BRAKE FAILURE LIKE THIS IS IF SOME xxxxxxx DID NOT BLEED THE BRAKE LINES PROPERLY OR DID NOT FILL THE BRAKE FLUID TO WHERE IT SHOULD BE!!!! dmv KNOWS ABOUT THIS AND SO DOES MY lAWYER. I gave these rejects the opportunity to fix the problem, but they are so arogant and think only they know cars. AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE. I'll be taking them to court. Not because I am trying to sue them. Only because my daughter could have been decapitaed in an accident do to their complete incompetance. And so could anyone who puts their faith in this lousy dealership. More
My wife and I bought a Mazda 3 from Independence Mazda. They were very helpful in the sales experience we also bought Gap coverage and maintenance agreement because it was a used car. In January 2017 the car w were very helpful in the sales experience we also bought Gap coverage and maintenance agreement because it was a used car. In January 2017 the car was involved in a total loss accident . After the insurance company paid off their cost of the car there was still a balance of 2700.00 . No problem right we bought the gap coverage . Wrong ! What a nightmare getting all the paperwork together for the gap coverage and the many phone calls to American Financial who we bought the gap coverage from through independence Mazda in the end we receive a whole 51 dollars from that coverage. But it didn’t end there. we were also entitled to a refund from the Maintenance agreement . Nightmare 2 we were told we needed to contact the Dealership {independence Mazda} to cancel the agreement and they would contact American Financial and american financial would tell them how much to refund. After several phone call to the dealership and speaking with the finance guy and the manager. I was told it was taken care of . Wrong a month or so later after speaking with the bank to see if they had received the refund check I was told it was not there yet. I called independence Mazda several times finally they gave me the number to American financial I call them and found out that the owner of the car had to sign the form to cancel the agreement which we were told on more than one occasion by independence Mazda that we did not have to sign . (don’t know their own system) got that done also found out that Independence Mazda is actually the ones refunding the money . Well it is May 23 2017 and the bank just called me still no refund check from Independence Mazda. I called independence Mazda again spoke to Nick he said he didn’t have anything to do with it after sending to accounting. Nick gave me the number to accounting . I told her the story she ask me if I had spoke to Nick and I told her I just did and he said that he had nothing to do with it after sending it to accounting HUM interesting. Accounting person promise to get check cut. Needless to say I won’t be buying from independence Mazda again More
