I have purchased 3 Honda Civics from Independence Honda in the last 9 years. Each time my satifaction grows with this dealership. My last Civic was in an accident and was not drivable. It was going to b in the last 9 years. Each time my satifaction grows with this dealership. My last Civic was in an accident and was not drivable. It was going to be about 2 weeks until the insurance settled everything and my car was repaired. The Sales Manager traded me out of my wrecked car and lowered my current payment. I would highly recommend Independence Honda. More
I called to test drive a 2012 Honda Accord V6 coupe two days prior to appointment. I was told that they had several models on the lot that could be test driven. Ray asked how soon I'm willing to buy and days prior to appointment. I was told that they had several models on the lot that could be test driven. Ray asked how soon I'm willing to buy and if I will buy on the spot. I said I will see if I like how it drives first. It was a snowy afternoon and I drove to the dealership. There he says to me that the last 2012 coupe was sold and they did not even have any 2011 models. I walked out and said he wasted my time. I should have checked the online inventory checker. He basically tried to pull a "bait and switch sales technique" to try to get me to buy another car I don't want. I will never buy from this dealership and beware buyers! Beware Geisinger employees! More
Would discuss NO numbers over the phone initially. The way every question was fielded through the unseen/unnamed Business Manager (reminiscent of the Wizard of Oz), what should have taken minutes took hou way every question was fielded through the unseen/unnamed Business Manager (reminiscent of the Wizard of Oz), what should have taken minutes took hours to find out.<br><br>Although I test-drove a standard/manual CR-V, was originally presented a quote that was the cost of automatic (although the quote was just hand-written numbers, nothing itemized). When my parents received a much lower quote and questioned the difference, I received a friendly phone call apologizing. That was just the tip of the iceberg. <br><br>The irony is if they had not wasted my time and tried to rip me off, our bottom lines were $179 away from each other. They COULD have had an immediate sales.<br><br>It was a relief to find another Honda dealer in the general area (Burne Honda from Scranton, PA) who apparently had nothing to hide and seemed eager to save both his time and mine! Ended up buying a non-Honda ("Buy American" husband) but will definitely go to Burne next time! More
