We brought our Ford Expedition to the dealer we purchased it from because the key would not release from the ignition. After several hours we were told it there was over $2,000.00 of service needed and we ne it from because the key would not release from the ignition. After several hours we were told it there was over $2,000.00 of service needed and we needed to prepay for the parts. My husband then drove to Imperial Ford in Mendon. Within 30 minutes the manager advised that he ran the VIN, we purchased the extended warranty, so this service was covered at 100%. (There was also some other issues that the first dealership advised that was needed and not under warranty.) But Imperial did the legwork to find the warranty we forgot about. They made the appointment and gave us a rental (also covered by the warranty,) since the part would take a few days to come in. They called us to update us during the process and called us once the service was complete (something other dealerships never did.) We will certainly be using Imperial for our service from now on. Purchased our car 1 month ago. Immediately after purchase, a tire kept losing pressure. Took it back they pulled a nail from it, patched it up. I called for an emergency. I hit a curb and ruined my tire.I spoke to Donnie in service and he told me to bring it right in.He greeted me at the drive in area. Another wonderful job by Don Hanscom and others. I had an appointment for my wife's Escape for Tuesday 11/22 but dropped off on Monday afternoon. Service got a head start on it then and found that beyond the 30k service and recall we needed tires and rear brakes. I okayed the work and expected it to take all day on Tuesday. Once again I was pleasantly surprised getting a call in the morning saying that the vehicle was ready. They had also put in for a tire rebate for us. Once again prompt, courteous, and professional. I go to Imperial Ford BECAUSE of their Ford Service Department. I have been taking my trucks there for 12 years now. The whole service crew is fair, honest, customer friendly and has integrity. I trust them with my truck and they have never let me down. They do not try to oversell, but will let me know when things need to be done with the vehicle. As a result I have no problems with the vehicles that I take there. Don in the front is really excellent, and the crew backing him up are excellent too---thanks! More
Just had another (as always) phenomenal experience with the service department and Don Hanscom my Service Advisor. I have a 2018 F150 which has only been serviced at Imperial. I live over an hour from the dealership, and have to pass two other Ford dealers on the way, yet Imperial is the only place I trust to work on my truck. They have been very accommodating with scheduling service, helping with loaner or rental cars, and never trying to oversell something I did't need. I have very high level of confidence in Don and the entire team there! More
