My husband and I had to start the process of looking for a new Jeep for him and we started at Imperial. I can tell you that we never intended on buying at the first place that we stopped at what I thought a new Jeep for him and we started at Imperial. Upon our arrival we were greeted by J.P. and I can tell you that he has been a pleasure to work with. Not only did we end up buying the Jeep for my husband but the very next day I went back to trade in my car for a second new car, my sebring convertible. From J.P. to Karyn and Mike in Finance, to all of the other employees that we spoke with, everyone was friendly, easy to work with and no pressure by anyone. There is NOT 1 negative thing that I can say about my experience. The have certainly earned by business and I would HIGHLY recommend J.P. and this dealership to anyone who is in the market to buy a car. Went in looking for a used vehicle. Met with Joe. He was great. However, unfortunately I had to meet his manager. The arrogance, poor attitude, aggressive hard sell to the point of almost being condes was great. However, unfortunately I had to meet his manager. He kept on stating that he wanted my business before I even decided on a vehicle. He wanted my phone number so that other people could call me. I told him that I didn't want anyone else calling other than Joe. With that, and Joe seeing my disgust, I left... Don't recommend this dealer. This was a horrible first meeting, all within 45 minutes or so. Recommendaitons: Managers Stay in your office until the customer is rfeady to negotiate. Your sales person will tell you when. More

Went in to purchase a new used car and did all the paperwork thru the the finance department and told that we were all set and to come back the next day by noon and I could drive my new used car of th paperwork thru the the finance department and told that we were all set and to come back the next day by noon and I could drive my new used car of the lot, but they told me to leave my trade and take the plates and turn them in to the registry so I did just that. The next day when I went to pick up the car they told me they were now having problems with the bank. I said what you people told me I was all set, now the deal fell thru and now I have to go and get the car I was going to use on a trade now unregistered and uninsured...So the bottom line is CAR SALESMAN are slim....and Imperial will lead you and tell you the wrong thing and make you spend money that is not needed.......DO NOT GO TO IMPERIAL CARS IN MENDON....... I traded in a 2004 Jeep Wrangler and the sales manager Kevin gave me more than fair value for it so the deal worked out just as I had wanted. And my wife got a similarly great deal: a 2006 Jeep Commander with low miles on it at an unbelievable price (lower than other places we looked at first). While I had it in my mind that I was looking for a Cherokee, my wife was looking at a bunch of different SUVs but decided on the Commander ultimately. Our sales associate Jim Burke was very helpful, showing us multiple cars and assisting us with test drives; he was very nice and laid back--no stereotypical aggressive sales tactics found at this place. The sales manager Kevin was equally as nice and easy to work with. All and all, it was a great experience and would be a return customer in the future. More

As consumers, we're conditioned to think we're being played by car dealers. The owner, Kevin Meehan got involved immediately, calling me on my cell phone to address and assuage my concerns. He put me in touch with Chuck Ray, Service Manager, who was phenomenal. They made arrangements to rectify every facet of the problem and delivered VIP service. I was completely stunned. True businessmen understand the power of turning negative interactions into positive ones. I also enjoyed dealing with Mike and Jason in finance. They both explained my options to me with no pressure tactics. Jason found me a promotional rate with a local bank that was a full point lower than anything I'd seen online. I live 50 minutes away but will visit them again for the next car. These guys get it- go check them out. Tell them Spin sent you. More
