Misleading We came in this time for a replacement of the USB port in our Sonata. We were told 3 different times that the part was covered under the warranty!! We came in this time for a replacement of the USB port in our Sonata. We were told 3 different times that the part was covered under the warranty!! Then after we left the shop with the new installed part, we received a phone call telling us the part was NOT covered under warranty! Jim told us we would need to come in and pay for the part or the cost would be taken from his paycheck. After being told 3 times it was a warranty item, we were very upset to now have to pay for it. where was the confusion?? Anyway, we didn’t want Jim to have to pay for the mistake so we came in and paid for the part. More

Frustrating experience It was the first oil change for the car. When we purchased the car, we purchased a maintenance plan which includes free oil changes and tire rotations It was the first oil change for the car. When we purchased the car, we purchased a maintenance plan which includes free oil changes and tire rotations. They informed me that the first oil change is on the dealership. When I picked up the car they did not rotate the tires which is recommended every 5,000 miles same as the oil change. I said I have the maintenace plan and they said that it was not included in the free oil change. Why would you give me a free oil change and not include a tire rotation and force me to pay for a tire rotation when I have a maintenace plan that covers that. We went back and forth and they finally agreed to throw in the tire rotation, had to wait another 30 plus minutes after waiting 45 minutes for the oil change. In addition, when I turned in the car for service I asked if I could have the car run through the car wash and the service person advised yes that would be done. So after waiting for my oil change and then again for my tire rotation, they did not run the car through the car wash. I had to go back and ask them to do that. Not a great first impression for our first service appointment. More
