It is an integral part of our best practices to make sure than any and all sensitive documentation and information about our customers is kept safe and confidential at all times. When you had your car serviced at the other dealership, it does pull up the name, address, and telephone number of a previous owner. This happens for a couple reasons: to make sure there is accurate reporting for any repair/maintenance done to the car for insurance/claims issues, to keep an accurate account of the life of the car, and to make sure that contact can be made to any previous owners of the vehicle if it is found abandoned/etc. I would like to reassure you that any information you saw in regard to your car was basic information and in no way in violation of our policies and procedures.
