WhenI was told that it would cost about $3000 to fix what had to be done, I decided that instead of putting more money into my car that I would lease a new car. I leased a new Q50. I was helped by Ralph Planzo, who was very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. I love how this car drives and looks. More

I was sc I am from Los Angeles and traveled to Las Vegas for New Years. Upon my arrival in the city, I had problems with the clutch on my G37 Sport. I was scheduled to have the slave cylinder replaced (which is covered under warranty) the following week in LA. This was unfortunate timing. The Service Rep I was initially assigned to was not present when I arrived. Instead, I worked with Jeremy Christensen, who processed me in; and had it not been for my experience the following days with my assigned service rep, I would have been extremely favorable in recommending this Service dept because, Jeremy was OUTSTANDING! I wish he had continued to work on my service needs. The following day, the other service rep contacted me and informed me that my entire clutch assembly had failed and would have to be replaced. That normally, that is a $3000 job, but they could do the work for $1300; by me just paying for parts. I questioned him feverishly, because being that I am not from the area, I could not understand, how or why the diagnostics from one dealership could be so drastically different from another. I was set to pay the deductible and have the recommended work from my dealership honored. Trust me, that would have been $100 instead of $1300; The Service agent made it seem like my home dealership had mislead me; that Park Place was doing what was necessary. Under duress I scratched up the $1300 which created a major hardship! New Years Eve I picked up the car. Supposedly with a brand new clutch system. It drove extremely poor. The clutch, with little to no resistance, went straight to the floor; creating a very dangerous situation repeatedly. I had to use my foot to pull the clutch pedal up several times. In addition, at times after stopping I was not able to put the car in gear at all. I had a heated conversation with the Service Agent expressing my anger and disappointment and returned the car shortly thereafter, for them to attempt again to get it right. At the end of the week I was able to pick up my car, which now runs much better. As a result to this very negative experience I contacted Infiniti Corp, who launched an investigation of the incident. Low and behold, I am told that my clutch was at 75% wear and tear, and they "decided it should be replaced." Understand...if they had just replaced the slave cylinder, which was recommended in system; and covered under my warranty, I would not have had shell out $1300 or be stuck in the desert as my options in this incident. The service agent lied! I am still extremely angry and cannot recommend this Service department in good conscience to anyone; especially women! This experience was nothing short of DECEPTIVE....BEWARE! *********Update*********** Upon the submission of this review I was contacted by Park Place Infiniti. They were very apologetic and acknowledged that they do not support the actions of that service agent. I was told that they are using the incident in their training practices their new service agents undergo. Additionally, they gave me a 100% refund! I accept their apology and while I could not change the content of the review, which describes what actually occurred; I did change the ratings because the actions of one person should not be the overall perception of Park Place Infiniti's service department. I'm sure they will recover from this incident and I wish them much success. CB Los Angeles More

typical dealership attitudes. My tags expired because this dealership was not willing to part with $16 until I would return from CA to pay. It delayed the tag process. Then when my My tags expired because this dealership was not willing to part with $16 until I would return from CA to pay. It delayed the tag process. Then when my wife came to the dealership to get the tags, the clerk handed her the tags and did not find someone to install them. Same time she attempted to get the car washed and was told it would be an hour. There is the reason its free. I find the staff to be argumentative defensive and poorly trained, this will never qualify in my mind as a high end dealership. Peter Engel 702-326-3578 More

I brought my car to Park Place Infiniti back in July for issues with chassis vibration and engine performance. It is now November and my situation has not been resolved. I've had the car with them 3 separ issues with chassis vibration and engine performance. It is now November and my situation has not been resolved. I've had the car with them 3 separate times this summer, most recently they kept it for 6 weeks and didn't replace a single part! My service advisor, Fabian, blatantly lied to me about work that was being performed to the car. 90% of what he told me was a complete fabrication including the replacement of sensors, mechanical parts, headlights, weather stripping, and even opening a customer care case directly with Infiniti on my behalf. He has recently left the company for obvious reasons but nobody informed me even though I had an open service order with him. I had to call the dealer (as I was frequently forced to do just to get updates) and found out he was gone. I'm now dealing with the service manager, Mark Dilts. I have not been able to draw any real conclusions yet but so far it seems like the previous service manager, Mike, was much more knowledgeable. My overall experience with this dealer has been a nightmare since they changed ownership. Back in 07 I purchased an FX35 from Park Place (then Towbin) and took it there several times for service and minor warranty issues. My experience was much more pleasant despite the more blue collar atmosphere at the time. If you are getting service done with Park Place, make sure you get everything in writing whether by email or work order. Many of my conversations with Fabian were verbal so now I've basically wasted 4 months and will probably have to start at square one with someone else. USE CAUTION More
