Consult was great, the tech who worked on my Q50s not so great. Careless, I know those 20s inch tires are heavy but I now have scuffs on my front fender. great. Careless, I know those 20s inch tires are heavy but I now have scuffs on my front fender. More

I was kind of put out that my service consultant was not wearing a mask and neither was the lady who checked me out. Also I was handed paperwork instead epaperwork and made to sign forms instead using eform wearing a mask and neither was the lady who checked me out. Tire Rotation I purchased my car here so I service my car here, but it was MW didn't know that it is now Zeiger Infinit. I had a slow leak on a tire so I asked them to rotate my tires along with repair. I did call ahead of time and when I got there my name wasn't in the system for an appointment, okay no big deal so I waited for the repairs, but I will make sure next time that I have a scheduled appointment on record. When I get home I look to see the tire that was repaired more like replaced, you dont fix run flats. When I walk around and look at all the tires I noticed some scratches on my front fender, most likely the back of rim hitting the fender as they were mounting the rim. I know my car and its in very, very good shape I know for a fact that those scratches were not there before I took the car in for service. More
Pleasantly Surprised We've got an old QX56 w/ 263k on the odometer. Overall it's been a solid vehicle for our family. We've got a brake issue w/ a slew of dummy lights shining bright. The service team helped to diagnose the issue and provided a slew of other maintenance options. Oddly they didn't bring up the non -functional horn or the airbag dummy light that's on all the time. As one would imagine on a vehicle of this age there are some, lets say, "opportunities" When I asked what codes the truck threw - they advised that they didn't see any codes. I thought that was odd. I think they put it on the lift, looked for what was leaking or worn and went from that. They also offered up a $119 air cabin filter which is about $19 at Autozone. At the end I couldn't justify several thousand bucks for some pretty straightforward repairs, let alone the cabin filter markup. Lefty loosey, righty tighty applies at the dealer just as well as it does at your local shop. Parts is parts so I have always struggled with the business model /price delta dealers charge. If the argument is that they know these vehicles better (which is probably true) ((Then it should be less than a local shop because the work gets done more efficiently ?)). Dunno. There is a big paradigm shift occurring and I hope that you're nimble enough to survive the shift. While this may sound as a negative rant, it's not. Just an observation. I know I would take the car to dealers for regular service if it was only 10 -15% more - but I'm getting the work done at less than half the pricing offered. I'd think you could make up the profits by simply lowering pricing and increasing the volume - I am probably wrong on that or it's what dealers would be doing? Kudos on the loaner (QX80). It had a nice and compliant ride, pretty peppy too. I was surprised to see a lot of plastic on the interior - esp on the doors near the dash, and the big plastic plate on the top of the back bumper was just way too goofy looking. Faux tough. Additionally the doors seemed really flimsy, hollow sounding and wouldn't inspire confidence that it has some kind of tank like toughness in case of side impact. I haven't looked at any crash data, and my impressions here are just that - impressions. Having said all that, one thing I've learned is that 'perception is reality' so if that's my perception I'm sure that there are others out there with similar views. So, overall I do rate the experience as excellent, understanding you can only do what you can do within the framework that you are provided. Communication was clear, everybody was nice and professional and I felt no pressure to spend the large dollars on our old QX. I hope that Nissan / Infiniti can get back on track since sales are down 2x as much as the Ford / Toyota / Honda / BMW - even Tesla sold more units in Q1 than Infiniti? Wowza. What the heck? I appreciate all your time, obviously I've got some time, keep doing great work and figure out how you can move fast and be bold in this new business climate. Kind Regards, Mark More
