I called infiniti of bayside on August 13th and made an appointment to return my leased vehicle. The appointment was in September but I called to reschedule it to October 24th. I’m an essential worker and appointment to return my leased vehicle. The appointment was in September but I called to reschedule it to October 24th. I’m an essential worker and only have one day a week to do anything so I was really happy to get an appointment confirmation for that Saturday as my lease end date was the following week. I got a text saying appointment confirmed. I go to the dealership that morning and show them the appointment confirmation and the front desk receptionist told me I didn’t have any appointment that she could find in the system. I begged her to help me because I am literally in such a situation with work that I couldn’t come back. I even asked her to help me call other dealerships to see if they can take my car today and she said she can’t make the calls for me. I said is it ok to leave the car here then and she said she would call a toe truck if I did that. Honestly this is my second infiniti and I have never been treated like this. I thought infiniti of bayside was known for their customer service. I understand if a misunderstanding happened but the way she talked to me was unacceptable. She is the reason I will NEVER step foot into an infiniti dealership again to purchase another car. Why pay for luxury if this is the way I’m going to be talked to? I not only paid tolls but so did my mom who drove there so she can give me a ride home. I started crying in the car ride home because I was so upset about the way this lady treated me. I asked to see a manager and she said she’s the supervisor and no one else is here. I can’t believe out of all dealerships, that this is who is sitting in the front desk of bayside. I don’t even live in Queens and I bought my car there because of the exceptional customer service. I now look on yelp and it seems the ratings have gone down drastically. I think you need to rethink your hiring process because none of your customers deserve that. This is my second infiniti and I will never be back at this dealership. Her name was Michelle Marin and I hope you never let her treat another customer like that again. I did not deserve to be talked to like that. Not even a simple sorry for what happened. Unbelievable. You should NOT have customers walking around WITHOUT A FACE MASK OR FACE COVERING, During this Pandemic. Rai and Stacey were amazing! Walked in to test drive walked out with a certified used QX60. Not pushy at all like other dealerships I’ve been to.
