Very disappointed with this recent visit. I made an appointment 5 days in advance to have the complimentary air filter offered by Infiniti installed. I very clearly indicated the purpose of my visit when I made the on-line appointment, "Complimentary air filter replacement". I received a confirmation of this appointment by email on Friday, July 14, 2023 at 4:57 pm. The confirmation stated that my requested service was "Complimentary air filter replacement". So, obviously, the dealership knew well in advance the purpose of this visit. Several days later, I even got a "reminder" from the dealership of my upcoming appointment. However when I arrived for this appointment on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at 3 pm, I was told that they had run out of air filters and I would have to return at a later date for the replacement. I had given up the better part of my day for this appointment and driven 14 miles ( a 45 minute drive from my home) each way, only to be told that I would have to do it again on another day. As far as I am concerned, there is no excuse for this, especially since the dealership knew 5 DAYS IN ADVANCE that I was coming to have this filter replaced...a filter replacement that they contacted me to offer in the first place!! If they saw that they were running low on their filters, the decent and responsible thing to do would have been to contact me in advance and set up an alternate date for service. Unacceptable! More
