I was a little disappointed to learn from Shannon that I would be charged $150 just to have a tech drive my car after the oil change just to hear a clunking noise when the car downshifts. I was not looking for any other diagnostic service - just drive 20 MPH. Since the sound is obviously coming from the power train, I knew it would be covered under warrantee. It was explained to me that the $150 would be applied or refunded if indeed it was covered under warrantee. Nonetheless, I did not want to spend $150 just to be told "that's normal". I'll wait for it to become more severe when it will be obvious it is a power train issue under warrantee. I also asked that at least my concern about the noise be entered into my record. It was not. It was only during checkout with Sue (who was filling in for Shannon since she was busy) that I discovered my request for the note was not entered. Sue entered it for me. I was also disappointed to learn that Laura Pfeiffer was let go after 23 years of service. I don't know if there were extenuating circumstances, but I can honestly say that it was because of the exceptional service provided by Laura that I bought my second car from Melbourne Infiniti. If that's how employees are treated, I'm not sure I will buy my next car from Melbourne Infiniti. More
