My most recent experiences with Infiniti of Melbourne (getting my Q50 serviced) have been very pleasant. I really like the service department. They are efficient, competent and easy to work with. From the moment I step out of my car, everyone is helpful. The waiting area is not as elaborate as other dealers but the coffee selection is great, snacks are plentiful and communication is great. I brought my car in for a check engine light and an oil change, and the service department convinced me into getting new brake pads and brake service and a tire rotation. They gave me a 4 page list of thin change, and the service department convinced me into getting new brake pads and brake service and a tire rotation. They gave me a 4 page list of things to fix, And stressed the importance of doing it all for safety, knowing I had children. I skipped half of the services and still ended up spending close to $3000. They didn’t even address my concerns about the check engine light that had been going on and off for over a month. The brakes and a tire rotation were not even on my list of concerns, and my check engine light is still on. I tried to reach the service department multiple times on the phone, left a message, they never called me back. The service rep was extremely rude to me on the phone. Although the service manager tried to call me and resolve the problem, we don’t trust the dealership and will not be returning with our business. The dealership is dirty and not a luxury experience. For a luxury dealership, they do not even offer loaner cars until you complain and ask. I am very just disappointed and will not be buying an infinity again nor will I be using the dealership for service. Please do not contact me, as I have wasted enough time and money on this already. I called the morning prior to my appointment and did not get a phone call back. I did leave a message that I wanted to speak to someone prior to my appointment the next morning. I was told that my car would be vacuumed and washed when it was done. Granted, the power did go out, but my car was returned a minimal of 15 minutes post the power being back on. They did wash the exterior of the car, but the car was not vacuumed out. Customer service rep by the name of Adam was great and I was impressed with him. I would come back. More
