I purchased an Infiniti Certified Pre-Owned vehicle (FX45) and purchased extended service warranty in March, 2007. Now I have rust (corrosion penetration) on doors and body panels, and Infiniti will (FX45) and purchased extended service warranty in March, 2007. Now I have rust (corrosion penetration) on doors and body panels, and Infiniti will not honor the published warrranty, claiming "environmental conditions" created the problem. The automobile was orginially titled in Lake Placid, New York. Further, Infiniti of Denver says such rust issues were disclosed at the time of purchase (not so), I was given the Infinity Certified Checklist. I bought the car on a Saturday, found the rust issues on Sunday, returned the car Monday and was told in no uncertain terms it was now my problem and Infiniti of Denver would not take the car back or trade for another vehicle. Now there is rust or corrosion penetration from the inside of the body panel and around the door window frame areas than neither Infiti of Denver or Nissan (Infiniti) will repair, even though it is clearly stated in the warranty such repars will be made. Needless to say, I am now in arbitration to get this resolved as Ininiti and Infiniti of Denver will not honor the warranty. More
I would avoid...they avoid manufacturer warranties and will keep on charging you even after you make the purchase. Their excuses for avoiding the warranties are only good if you enjoy complex thinking tha will keep on charging you even after you make the purchase. Their excuses for avoiding the warranties are only good if you enjoy complex thinking that has no real common sense to it. Just a big headache I would avoid by visiting other CO dealerships. More
