Ms Alfred, We are sorry to hear about your negative experience with our dealership. However, some of the information in your review is inaccurate. We did not sell you a car with two different sets of tires but rather a different brand of tires in the front and rear of the vehicle. Both brands are approved by the manufacturer for that vehicle and there would be no need for Carfax or any other reporting tool to document that. Furthermore, different tire brands would not contribute to wheel bearing failure, alignment issues or vehicle safety. It seems that is true in this case, as you did not bring the vehicle in for any problems prior to one year. After addressing your concern, our service advisor did a drive and a road check of your vehicle and found it to be performing as it should be. We have never heard of a set of tires jerking someone into a pothole, so claiming this to be our responsibility is curious. Also, if we failed to address the seriousness of the situation on your visit, one would think the pot hole incident would not have taken a week. It appears that you and Tim had a disagreement with liability and responsibility for the blown tire and resulting bent wheel. When Tim disagreed with your position, you did not like that. He did not behave inappropriately to you, he just did not give you the answer you wanted to hear. His “misogynistic rant” to his employee was involving a man, so that comment does not make sense. We did not hold you vehicle hostage nor do any repair work that you did not authorize. Finally, the car was not sold faulty, nor was it faulty because it had 2 different brands of tires. We are sorry you feel that hitting a pot hole was our fault, but we believe we went above and beyond in this instance.

This response is laughable ; you guys know what you did, and you got away with it. I didn’t just make this up out of thin air - Chris is one that informed me of the incorrect tires and how it WOULD cause damage over time. Cause & Effect. A mere pothole does not blow out a good tire; the tires, the alignment, everything was off because of the different tires. And if there’s no liability on your end, then why was the service employee brought in to argue with me, the customer? Why did that even occur? For a yelling powertrip Timothy was so eager to display. You guys initially quoted me at $4900; and would have happily swiped my credit card if I didn’t ask why. Again, this is laughable. You guys know what you did. And ya got 4 new tires out of me at $2500.

AEWalfred, We respectfully disagree with your position. The fact is that these “defective” tires served you perfectly for over a year. You then hit a pothole and decided to try and make us pay for your car suddenly “self-swerving” you into it. And yes, potholes blow out tires all the time. Then, as a good-will gesture, we paid for a brand new wheel. At this point, we believe we did everything to make an unfortunate situation better but are no longer interested in exchanging different opinions on the events, let alone having insults and name-calling directed at us. We wish you good luck with your vehicle and new tires.
