Very bad customer service. Threatens customer if they don't like what they have to say. A vehicle was not towed into the dealership as you claim it was drove in. I work in customer service and no matter how they talk to you, you are to defuse the situation and add fuel to the fire. This is for Jason believe whom was acting as if he is better then the customer. The customer was told that nothing could be done until Wed. or Thursday. Jason's boss is who refused the situation which should have been done in the begining. I was thinking of getting a Hyundai at a close by dealership but this one I will not go to sorry. Treat your customers like they matter and come first weather they deserve it or not More
Really disappointed in the service department's attention to detail and unwillingness to be proactive troubleshooting electrical problems. My wife explained issues she is having with a Santa Fe and went on two occasions, taking time off work to do so, just to have them say oh they didn't understand or they made an appointment and didn't know what they needed to do. you'll have to come back another time. I bought my first Hyundai here, and had recent service on another car but they're losing the opportunity to sell me anything else or have me come in for service. I bought an extended warranty with my car, as I always do, and I would expect them to take a few extra minutes or be a little more concerned with taking care of a customer who drops $3000 to $4,000 on a warranty to ensure they won't have any problem getting paid with bumper-to-bumper issues. They will take the time to rinse your already clean car in their dirty reused water car wash and leave it full of spots. I'm sure the Hyundai Rep. won't be pleased with our report but we will be calling him anyway. More
My engine gave out on my 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport SUV. I knew something was wrong due to me driving so many vehicles, and due to me asking a lot of questions about vehicles when I was a little girl. I live in Illinois and work in Wisconsin and Indiana so I do a lot of driving on a regular basis. I was given a Hyundai Santa Fe 2023 rental SUV to drive and I was so pleased!!! All of the staff at this dealership is so wonderful and I think anybody that wants to work at any dealership should be trained by this dealership only. Hate to do it since I don’t like leaving negative reviews on businesses but I have to say I’m thoroughly disappointed in Hyundai on Perryville and don’t think I can bring myself to recommend them to people a on businesses but I have to say I’m thoroughly disappointed in Hyundai on Perryville and don’t think I can bring myself to recommend them to people anymore. While the sales people were friendly and overall helpful, I can’t say the same for management and service. We’ve bought our last 4 cars from them (19 Kona, 20 Tucson, 20 Veloster N and 22 Kona N). The first 3 went fairly smoothly. The last one did not at all. A lot of unnecessary back and forth games and after being ready to go to a dealership in Schaumburg, they finally got numbers around where I wanted. I should’ve just gone somewhere else. We ended up buying from there and after a few days I noticed all sorts of scratches that looked like they happened when they took the wrap off of it. They were taking care of it. No biggie. Dropped it off this morning and picked it up about an hour ago. Came back looking worse than it did going in. Dried wax residue, more scratches, wax on the plastic that I have to get off, water-spots galore (so it was most likely just washed and waxed in 6 hours). Everything seems so lazily done and after the buying experience and now the service experience, I think we’ll be finding a new go to in the future. More

I have a 2018 ioniq, getting 35.4 mpg, took it into service to see what's going on. There service department was useless, scheduled an appointment, took time out of my life to have them do something th service to see what's going on. There service department was useless, scheduled an appointment, took time out of my life to have them do something that I feel matters and that's just checking the hybrid battery, but nope not these guys, "there's nothing we can do" "it's cold outside" "someone who works here gets the same mpg. Just xxxxxxxx. Not sure who buys a hybrid expecting 35.4mpg I got it because of the 50+ mpg that's advertised and to be told there's nothing to check, there's no update for them to just disregard my concern speaks to the service character of this Hyundai dealership. Buyer beware there's nothing Hyundai can do with your hybrid if the hybrid battery is having issues. They give you a warranty that they're not inclined to honor: great sales pitch tho, hybrid 50+ mpg 55 even 60! Go buy a Prius if owning a Hyundai means being treated like this, your better off going somewhere else. Shame on Hyundai on Perryville. More

I really wasn't in the mind frame of buying a new car when this all started,so I was uncertain what I wanted. He asked questions and narrowed it down and I left with a SUV that I'm very pleased with. David helped us with our unpleasant situation, turning it around so we left very pleased. More
Don't buy your car or service your car here. 2 for 2 on bad engines with the Elantras. They were more than happy to throw a 2 time customer under the bus. Never again will I buy a Hyundai especially from this dealership. Seriously....giving my wife some lame anecdote about not having a rear license plate light AND THEN having the nerve to charge what they stated was pure comedy. Tires with less than 2000 miles supposedly needed rotation (laughter). Wife was also told the air filter was dirty. I guess they didn't see the big K&N sticker on its cover. Clean it off and put it back in! Cabin filter? Don't even get me started. Not getting the car serviced there anymore. A shame a female service manager would use such predatory tactics on another woman. And Roberta, the suburb dealerships know all about ya, sweetie. And it isn't good. More

It was my first time time ever going to a dealership and they had a female I went to Hyundai on Perryville on Sunday February 2, 2020 in Rockford, IL. It was my first time time ever going to a dealership and they had a female as a service advisor and it was female empowerment all day long. Every other place I ever went to they always have guys, and that threw me for a shock because at car dealerships the females normally work in cashier or sales department only. My service advisor was Roberta Hagaman and she is very smart and kind person. The rest of the staff are really nice too. It is a very clean place. If you are looking for a place with smart, nice and caring staff and clean this is the place to go!!! There is no need to stop anywhere else if you are looking for a Hyundai dealership in Illinois.
