I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with him, and it was a pleasure doing business with him. However, there was another employee (I cannot recall his name nor am I sure if he was a manager or not) that stepped in during the negotiation process who was aggressive, did not deliver on what he verbally promised during our negotiation, and wouldn't listen to what I was trying to tell him regarding what I wanted for the price. To keep it short, while in the finance office to finalize the deal, I did not receive the exact amount for my trade-in vehicle and the new vehicle price was not as promised during our negotiation, and when I called the discrepancies out to the finance officer, the individual in question whom I was negotiating with had promptly left (there were other difficulties that I ran into with this individual during our negotiation, but will omit it from the review due to time). Having to eat a few hundred dollars at the end given our situation does not bother me on a business-level because he did his job, and the dealership was able to squeeze out a little more money from me. The issue that I have with this individual is purely on principals. To verbally promise specific rates/prices with a customer, and then to renege on the deal (only to find out in the finance office) is not only unprofessional, but speaks ill of your character as a human. I understand that business is business (and it can get messy and dirty at times), but you're still dealing directly with other human beings, as yourself, who are trying to navigate through life. I completely understand that the goal of sales representatives of any dealership is to close deals and to move units, but my experience with this particular individual will probably make me think twice about coming back to this dealership a third time if I were to purchase another vehicle in the future. More
