I felt that service writer was not well enough informed I told Mary when I arrived that the a/c compressor was going bad and I had platinum warranty coverages no deductible She winced up her face like s I told Mary when I arrived that the a/c compressor was going bad and I had platinum warranty coverages no deductible She winced up her face like she never heard of that type coverage. Well after discovery by technician the compressor was indeed bad She called warranty company to take care of costs but never checked for a deductible After repairs I left Only to get a call two days later that I had left without paying a $100 deductible I told Mary again that my warranty is the best coverage Hyundai offers with no deductible She told me I will have to check that But I don’t think so I began then to have my doubts about her knowledge of warranties Personally I should not have experienced this type behavior by a service writer More

I called Roy recently and said that my car would not start, he told me to bring it in as soon as I got a jump start. When I arrived the car was taken and a new battery was put in and the good news that Roy gave me was that it would not cost anything as it was still under warranty. 2019 Santa Fe start-stop problems The car begin to experience start-stop problems. Sometimes at a stop sign/red light the car would cycle down and then stop. The car would completely The car begin to experience start-stop problems. Sometimes at a stop sign/red light the car would cycle down and then stop. The car would completely stop and I would have to put the shifter into N or P and restart the car all the while other drivers are honking at me to move. It sometimes would take 1-3 attempts for the car to start. I took the car in for service and they were unable to identify the problem. The did a software update. They provided a rental for 8 days. The service manager and techs were frustrated. Got the car back and no problems in the beginning however car had two start-stop problems today. The car was not driven for two weeks because of vacation. I have tried to video the start-stop problem in my neighborhood with a little more traffic control. No luck duplicating the problem. This problem has been discussed on Hyundai forums. Some reported the problem solved with the software update and one owner said his dealer tracked it down to a faulty Hyundai Part No.: 42700-2H000 SWITCH ASSY-POSITION. I really don't know what to do. I guess I will return the car for more troubleshooting. Mary has been helpful but I believe she is also frustrated. More
