Clearly forgot the Customer in Customer Service So I stopped into my local Hyundai dealership today (Hyundai NPR) for a tire repair. Last night I drove over something, it was leaking slowly and it w So I stopped into my local Hyundai dealership today (Hyundai NPR) for a tire repair. Last night I drove over something, it was leaking slowly and it went completely flat over night. I filled it today and took it in for a tire repair where I was met with Jason, today's Service Advisor. After inspecting the tire it was deemed that I needed a new tire. I purchased a road and hazard warranty for my 2018 car when I purchased it and I still have a full factory warranty. Jason came back and asked me if I want a different brand tire with a different tire tread or he would have to order a new tire that wouldn't be here until tomorrow as they were out of stock. My car has less than 30K on it, I WANT MATCHING TIRES. He states he can put my donut tire (glad I even have one AT MY COST) on and come back tomorrow. After speaking with my wife she reminded me that I should be receiving a rental as this donut tire clearly has a warning sticker on it that it is a temporary tire. I asked Jason to look into a rental and here's where it takes a turn for the worst. He asked the service MGR Andrew Hutchinson, if I could get a rental. He stated "that the donut is safe to drive on". Mind you I have to drive to Tampa at 5:00am in the morning and use my car for work. The tech then says that "I know people that drive for days on a donut". Just because you can has no reflection on if you should. I then said " Its Pasco county people also drive on donuts for months!!" I then made the comment that "look up my name and see how many cars I have purchased here", "there must be something you can do?" (My wife and I have collectively purchased 8 vehicles in Mr. Finks dealerships.) Andrew Hutchinson's response....."I don't care how many cars you have bought!!" I then stated "good enough, I hope this tire issue was worth it". Mr. Fink, I' will be seriously doubting if I purchase another car at any of your dealerships anymore after how this was incorrectly handled. I walk over to my salesman Felix, after just speaking to him about how my 16 year old daughter will be getting her new car next month", while I was waiting for the tire repair, and told him what happened and that the new vehicle purchase next month is CLEARLY not happening after how a loyal customer was treated over a $150.00 tire. He says "hold on let me talk to Drew!" The manager stated calmly that he didn't have any cars available. So I then leave to head home on my donut, telling myself it was a good decision to buy another new car. New cars are always nice because they are new, Customer service is the reason dealerships have repeat customers. More

We had bought a new 2020 Palisade from Hyundai NPR and had a wind noise coming from the driver's door, so, we brought it back to our dealer. Our service advisor Lily said they'd have to have a body shop had a wind noise coming from the driver's door, so, we brought it back to our dealer. Our service advisor Lily said they'd have to have a body shop check it out. Turns out the door wasn't aligned correctly with the door latch which had to be replaced. Since the car was so new the latch would have to be ordered and take 3 to 4 days. Lily kept us updated every step of the way. When the part arrived Lily said the body shop had damaged the outer window reveal molding while they were aligning the door and that it would have to be ordered as well. That was it we were stuck with a small rental car and had family coming in this week which would have been 2 weeks without our car being fixed. So we went to Hyundai and talked to JV the asst service manager. When he heard our dilemma he talked with Lily who filled him in what happened. Then JV said he'd have them take the moulding that we needed off of his own vehicle which just happened to be a 2020 Palisade like ours! This gentleman went beyond our expectations as does Lily our service advisor! After they installed the moulding Travis the shop foreman went with us to test the car for wind noise. We could only do 60 mph in town so Travis said when we go out on the interstate to check it then at 70-75 mph and if we hear any noise to bring it back and let him know as he had also ordered a window run in case which would help alleviate the problem as well. With a staff like that it's no wonder that Hyundai has such a reputation. Ditto to Hyundai, JV, Lily, Travis and Jeff (our sales rep) for taking care of us like family! More

Extreme Dificulty connecting my Genesis connect sytem I couldn't connect my Genesis connect service with the help of a service person while on the phone. He said I would have to bring my car in to have i I couldn't connect my Genesis connect service with the help of a service person while on the phone. He said I would have to bring my car in to have it connected at the Hyundai service center. My car was brought there and finally they told me it needed a new part. My car was brought back to me and they would call me when the part arrived. It took awhile to be called and a little longer for them to pick up my car. My car was in the service center for another 5 days. I was in contact with the service manager and he kept telling me there was a problem connecting the service and they were emailing back and forth and another center. Then I was told it takes another 12-24 hours to see if it works. I can't believe with the technology of the car that I am told the service center is emailing back and forth and has to wait for them to answer. Juan was polite and apologetic on the phone but I didn't like the delay (twice) to get the problem fixed. More
