We were told to see "Big John" and that we would be treaded fairly. Well...all we can say is that "Big John" and the folks and Hyundai of New Port Richey lived up to all of our expectations! The entire experience was great! Good car...2013 Elantra...good price...super Salesman (Thanks "Big John")...and our daughter is very, very happy! We had such a good experience and like the car so much that we may just go back and see what kind of car and deal we can get for ourselves! We would highly recommend the dealership and "Big John" for sure! More
I just purchased my 5th NEW car from the Best Dealership I have ever in my life bought a new car from and I've been buying new cars since 1976. At other dealerships I wind up talking to the New Car Manager I have ever in my life bought a new car from and I've been buying new cars since 1976. At other dealerships I wind up talking to the New Car Manager at some point to negotiate the trade/deal I want to make. I don't have to do that here because the salesman I've dealt with on each of my 5 purchases over the last many years has become like a family friend. He's proven himself to be honest, plain talking and professional - Robert Schlopy. I tell Robert what I want for my trade, we make a deal on the car I'm purchasing and he gets it approved - for what I want to do. I've done my homework before I go to the dealership, on the car I want to buy, but honestly Robert and the folks at New Port Richey Hyundai make car buying easy. If I change my mind after I've said okay to a deal on a car (like my wife did on this buy), nobody gets excited. We looked first at the 2013 Sonata Limited...and loved it; made a deal and said we'd buy right then and then walked out in to the lot while they worked up the paperwork. Then in the lot my wife so a 2013 Sonata Limited 2.0T (dual exhaust turbo) and immediately changed her mind. This was the car she wanted! I went in stopped told Robert who stopped the process and went and got the key for the Sonata Turbo which the wife took for a test drive and confirmed this as her new choice. Again we negotiated the numbers, made easier by the agreement we'd already reached on our trade and in no time flat, we were driving home in an absolutely beautiful new Sonata with blue tooth, navigation and even backup camera! A bonus was to find that we got 26 mpg driving in the Tampa Bay area from Pinellas to Hillsborough County. Of course I've been having my cars serviced at this dealership as well, and the Service guys at this dealership bend over backwards to get things done in your time. It just a fantastic dealership. Look, if you go there - Just tell them you're there to see Robert Schlopy - hey call ahead and ask for Robert in sales. I promise you, you won't be sorry you did. I never for the life of me thought I'd be saying of car folks....these are nice people! At this dealership, these are indeed nice people. While others may talk about ethics and honesty and fairness, at this Hyundai dealership the live it - from sales floor to the service department, they say what they mean and mean what they say! More

Jeena was an outstanding sales representative. No slip ups. Delivered car in timely manner, explained rudiments of operation, was psotive and thorough. Did have a problem with finance department over service plans..was not provided enough time to examine programs... took a program, left a check..thought about it, did not have a document detailing what service I had purchased for close to a thousand dollars, called the very next morning to cancel and return my check. Was told check was sent off, but would give me credit for three or more lease payments. I did not find this acceptable, called my bank and had them stop payment on the check..cost me 34 dollars. Still do not know of dispoosition of this matter. I do not want this service program, in my contract there was some indication that the program should have cost 675.00 as well as I could determine. Just bought our 2nd Hyundai from David Brennen. First met David in Feb 2010. We had been considering trading in our current SUV, a Chevy Trailblazer EXT when gas prices started rising. We had researched a lot of vehicles & decided to have a look at the Sante Fe. Through our internet search we heard from David in just a few hours. He was very pleasant & knowledgeable. Even though everything we read about the new Hyundai's was very good we were still a little skeptical as we thought of them as "disposable" cars. Boy were we wrong! We drove a 2010 Sante Fe Limited & decided it was exactly what we were looking for in quality, dependability, luxury & price. We were very specific about color (interior & exterior) & options. They didn't have one on their lot. David made a few calls, found what we wanted. We were back the next evening to pick up our new SUV. David did everything he said he would do & then some. We have been very pleased with this vehicle & planned to keep it for many years. Well...my husband was up getting the oil changed a few days ago. He was just looking at the new cars. He saw a red Sante Fe Sport 2.0T that he fell in love with. David was not there but called the next day to talk to us about it. Again, David had a lot of the paperwork done when we got there. We drove it home last night only 2 hours after meeting with David. Jerry Benson, finance, was very pleasant to deal with. We went to sign papers. He surprised us with a better interest rate than we were expecting. We recommend David & Hyundai of New Port Richey to everyone. More
