DESPITE HAVING COME WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT, BIG JOHN WAS MOST ATTENTIVE TO SEEING THAT I WOULD LEAVE SATISFIED. I have to say that Hyundai of New Port Richey is worth the trip. I live much closer to the Wesley Chapel dealership but the employee Jeena Verdelotti was a gem to work with. My new Turbo Veloster is awesome. It handles very well...great pickup and handling. I initially had a 2012 automatic which I was not very happy with...and traded it in for the 2013 Turbo manual trans well...great pickup and handling. I can't believe the difference in the two vehicles...leather interior, enhanced sound system, rear view camera, lighting, GPS, difference in seats...the list goes on an on. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that gas mileage was excellent. I drove to Savanagh and back on 2 tanks of gas (averaging 32 mpg). Kudos to Jimmy Hendron (sales), Roger (finance), and of course Mary (service) who made this transaction a wonderful experience. I met with Felix Nieves who was in the service line with me as I was taking my 2007 Santa Fe in for a recall. He struck up a conversation and was pleasant and we talked about the new Santa Fe. I told him me as I was taking my 2007 Santa Fe in for a recall. He struck up a conversation and was pleasant and we talked about the new Santa Fe. I told him I was not interested, but he said he wanted to show me all the changes in the 2013 Santa Fe. I didn't like the interior in the Black, but loved the interior in the Silver. We talked about what it would take to buy or lease a 2013. He did bring in one of his bosses to talk more about a lease and I was impressed, but not wanting to make a decision. I told him that I need to think about it. I talked with my CPA and other people who had leased before and they thought it was a great deal. Three days later I came in and leased the Silver Santa Fe Sport Turbo. I was also introduced to Moji Abbasi who was introduced as his partner and that they work as a team. I was told that if I ever come in and Felix wasn't there, I should deal with Moji. Moji helped set up the Blue Ray package and answered some more questions about the SUV. I have always disliked car salesmen in the past and Felix changed that. I felt more comfortable going to the dentist before. I would recommend Felix and feel he has been the most professional and low keyed salesperson I have dealt with in the auto industry. I am writing this due to the experience I had and how comfortable I felt and that I was a valued past customer and a guest at the dealership. I felt that I got the respect and dignity that I haven't ever felt buying an auto and let people know there are people like Felix among the staff that made me feel that I was talking with a man who did not pressure me and respected me.
