I believe that I have already had a conversation with the Service Manager without a change in what I am being told. If I tow my car in now it won't be looked at for 1-2 weeks for the initial diagnostic work, and then depending on what is wrong the estimate for the repair sits at 6-8 weeks out. Apparently, your service department is inundated with cars under warranty with failed engines and major issues that have been in the shop for 1-2 months. Or at least this is what I was told on the phone by the service department.
