I ordered a Ford truck from Ford of Kirkland in Washington State because it was close to a shipping terminal that could ship the truck to me. Before ordering I asked the salesman if they could del Washington State because it was close to a shipping terminal that could ship the truck to me. Before ordering I asked the salesman if they could deliver the truck to the terminal (across town). He said Yes. I found out 6 months later that was the first of many promises made by dealer staff that were not true. The truck arrived from the factory in February 2024 which is when the problems started. I was passed off to multiple sales staff who never seemed to be at work and did not return calls, texts, or emails. They asked for proof of residence documents, which I sent them, which they lost, so I sent them again. It took them over two weeks to get the purchase documents to me because they don't use Docusign, which cost me $300 for delivery and notary services of one copy for them, and no copy for me. I had to make my own copies. They told me I could pay by check but they would wait two weeks for the check to clear or I could pay by wire transfer for $75 with no waiting. I did the wire transfer and they held up the sale for two weeks anyway "for the wire transfer to clear"! They finally completed all the paperwork in April 2024. The truck was at the dealership for 8 weeks now. The newest salesman said he would deliver the truck to the terminal. After waiting another week, he told me they were too busy to deliver the truck to the terminal (28 miles away) and they needed a bill of lading. The bill of lading was waiting for them at the terminal. I had to contract for a local delivery service to drive the truck across town. The finance department insisted on collecting out-of-state sales tax and completing an out-of-state registration form. I warned them that it would not be accepted at DMV. The truck was delivered to me in early May 2024. It was missing one of the options I ordered from the factory, so I called to ask for a refund of the cost of the option. A sales manager told me in writing that I would get a refund. I did not. I escalated the issue to the dealer's customer service representative, who told me the sales manager was resolving the issue. I never received the refund. The truck arrived without the temporary plates (which I signed in the purchase document package two months prior), without the MSO, and without the purchase invoice, so I could not title or register the truck at DMV. I had to contact the title clerk to find the missing paperwork. The title clerk had my home address but sent it directly to my local DMV office. DMV called me several days later to tell me I had to come downtown to the central office (not my local office) to pick up the paperwork and then make an appointment at my local office to title and register the vehicle. So I made two trips to two different DMV offices. The paperwork sent to DMV by the dealer included a registration form for the wrong county, so I had to fill out the correct form at DMV. The package also included a check for the sales tax made out to the Dept of Taxation so DMV would not accept it. I had to make a separate trip to another govt office to pay the sales tax because the dealer insisted on collecting the tax from me and then mailing a check to me that I had to pick up at one govt office and then deliver to another govt office. Ford builds a good truck but Ford should not allow Ford of Kirkland to EVER SELL ANOTHER FORD! More

They quoted me a price over the phone and then raised the price by $500 on the day of my visit. Their out-the-door pricing is different from the estimate and the actual. I was not very happy with the transaction although I bought the car from them. More

Friendly salesman met me at the door and assisted with setting up test drive. After the test, he helped review pricing and optional items until I was satisfied with my decision.
