Overcharging in Service Dept With the help of another Hyundai dealer, I caught Cool Springs trying to overcharge me by $175 for a repair to my Santa Fe. After getting what I thou With the help of another Hyundai dealer, I caught Cool Springs trying to overcharge me by $175 for a repair to my Santa Fe. After getting what I though was an overpriced cost on my vehicle, I called another dealer and spoke with their service mgr about it. He confirmed that I was being overcharged, and he called Cool Springs on my behalf. After the call, Cool Springs lowered my charge by $175. How many people are getting overcharged by them, and have no idea about it? In my opinion, this is a very bad business practice. Most people probably don't know what they should be charged, and are depending on the dealer to be honest and fair with them. I will not be using them for any more service work. I spoke with the GM of the dealership and voiced my displeasure with the treatment I received. I don't like to 'blindside' a business if I feel there is a problem there. Without knowing there is a problem, how can they correct it? In this case, with all that was said, I feel like they have no intention of correcting it. More
GOOD SERVICE IN THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT I recently took my Santa Fe in for routine service. Besides needing an oil change and filter, along with getting my tires rotated, two other issues ne I recently took my Santa Fe in for routine service. Besides needing an oil change and filter, along with getting my tires rotated, two other issues needed to be addressed. They indicated that I had a recall that could be fixed on this visit, so this was done as well. We also were experiencing a back seat heating issue through the vents located behind the front seats. They did supposedly get this fixed, but we could tell no difference, when put to the test, one of the rare times that an issued was not resolved. This is a bit of an annoyance as I told Chris, our service representative, that I did not feel that the problem had been resolved, based on what he told me and our having had issues since purchasing the car. Other than this one thing, Chris and the service department, as always, was outstanding and very accommodating. Also Freddy was very helpful to me, taking me to the mall and picking me up, and I always appreciate him. So overall, a good experience, with accolades to Chris and Freddy. More
no follow up After taking my car to dealership on 11/13/17 for a thumping noise and hard downshifts around 20 mph when the car is "cold" they said I needed a softw After taking my car to dealership on 11/13/17 for a thumping noise and hard downshifts around 20 mph when the car is "cold" they said I needed a software update which would not be covered under the warranty. I authorized them to do the update and they said all was well. Driving out of the dealership and heading to the local costco the same problem existed. I went back to the service area and Justin told me the tech said it would take 15 to 20 miles of driving to correct the problem. I offered to have them ride along with me so they could experience this downshifting. Justin again said it needed to be driven and the techs were at lunch and sent me on my way. (He knew I was leaving the next morning to head back to California.) Needless to say, the problem did not go away and whenever the car was cold it had a hard downshift around 20 mph. I took it to my dealer in Huntington Beach, Ca and they took the time to correctly diagnose the problem and said the software update needed to be "tweaked" and that dealer in Cool Springs should have never released the vehicle until the problem was resolved. The car is running Great now. So that is why I am giving this dealership a negative review More
Service department customer service is awful 11/16/17 Today I dropped my car off for a scheduled service at Hyundai Cool Springs. My schedule appointment was at 10:45 am. I live about 30 minuets 11/16/17 Today I dropped my car off for a scheduled service at Hyundai Cool Springs. My schedule appointment was at 10:45 am. I live about 30 minuets south of this location, and unfortunately ran into traffic on my way, when realizing I was going to be running late a phoned the service department and left a message that I was running behind and was still looking to bring my car in to be serviced. When arriving I was greeted and asked what I needed to have done. I explain that I needed an oil change,and that there was a leak in my car and when it rained the floor on the drivers side became extremely wet and that I was also seeing water from the sun visor on the drivers side. The technician said he believe my sunroof was causing the problem and there was a tube that was probably clogged. We also went over a quote for tires and also a quote for a split in my back seat. He was kid I wanted a call before being any work to my car to go over pricing. I said please and asked how long the process might take. He responded that he believed my car would be ready around 3/4pm today. After having the same issue with this service department before I explained that if he needed until tomorrow morning that would be fine I just need to know. He said no it should be ready and tat he would call with the work information soon. I don’t have a lot of time off of work and I also work crazy hours so my days off are packed very full. After I haven’t received any information by 4 I decided to call. My car wasn’t ready and had not even been pulled in for the oil change yet. The technician had no idea about the leak. When I asked about it he said the information wasn’t with him and he believe it to be fixed. I said believe..... well what was wrong with it??? He said he wasn’t exactly sure. The day only got worse..... no call until 5:45 and then told me it was $200 for the sunroof to be unclogged..... and it had already been done with no call to the customer....... More

I had called the day before and asked if they could fit me in on Saturday that it would work better for me because of traffic did not get his name but said sure bring it in.When I got there they were very busy James got me in and out in no time!!They even vacuum my car and clean my windows.I live in Hendersonville TN.and I have tried dealers that are a lot closer but none compare.I have 2013 and 2016 Hyundai got both from Cool Springs.If you need service on your car or looking to buy give Cool Springs Hyundai a try. Superb follow up from Hyundai his visit was for a follow up to an issue that Hyundai has been working with me and the dealer to solve since fall 2016 to correct a problem with the his visit was for a follow up to an issue that Hyundai has been working with me and the dealer to solve since fall 2016 to correct a problem with the BlueLink app and our 2016 Equus. Hyundai's representatives have been in touch with me regularly over the last few months (can't say I've ever had that level of service from another manufacturer), and they let me know they had come up with a fix and were contacting Hyundai of Cool Springs to let me know when the parts arrived so we could set an appointment. A few days later, the service mamager Tim called me, the appointment was set, the car was brought in on a Tuesday, I was provided a loaner, and on Wednesday I picked the car up and the issue was fixed! Great follow up from Hyundai and the usual great service from Hyundai of Cool Springs! This is why we've purchased 3 Hyundai vehicles in the last 4 years from Hyundai of Cool springs. These folks are THE BEST we've ever dealt with, hands down, from sales and service and every other aspect! ! More
Great Experience Pleased with the professional and courteous service we received yesterday. We were in a bind on a Sunday evening, by discovering my daughter's car had Pleased with the professional and courteous service we received yesterday. We were in a bind on a Sunday evening, by discovering my daughter's car had no working brake lights. We tried to replace the bulbs and fuse ourselves that night, but they still would not work. We called Hyundai of Cool Springs on Monday morning and brought the car in with no appointment. The service dept was very busy and had a full load that day. I explained my daughter was having to drive back to college that day, and we would need the car back whether it was fixed or not, but would appreciate anything they could do to see what the problem was quickly. Three hours later, they called and had found the brake switch was bad, replaced the switch and bulbs and got her on the road at lunchtime. She made it back to her college before dark, in a working, safe vehicle, which alleviated a lot of stress on her parents! Can't thank Mike Pierce and Eric Warner enough for helping us out in a precarious situation, so quickly. More

I've been extremely pleased with every visit. The staff is sure to explain everything that needed to be done, and they always wash and vacuum my car- complimentary. While I'm in the waiting room, there is always an employee checking in with the customers to see if there is anything they can grab for us. I look forward to coming back for all my car services! More
