These comments cover two service visits to Hyundai of Cool Springs in May, 2013. 1) I brought my 2012 Hyundai Elantra in for 18,750 mile service on May 7th. I advised Manny Martinez, my usual service Cool Springs in May, 2013. 1) I brought my 2012 Hyundai Elantra in for 18,750 mile service on May 7th. I advised Manny Martinez, my usual service advisor, that the steering wheel cover seemed to be deteriorating. He replaced the wheel without any hassle, and the remaining service was performed on a coupon price from several months earlier, which he had agreed to apply to this service when I made the appointment. 2) Approximately two weeks later, I advised Manny that the transmission issues I had brought it in for several times before had reoccured. I asked him if we could elevate the problem to his service manager, and the district manager if necessary. He made an appointment for that Wednesday (5/22), advised that their technician would transmit the transmission performance data to the tech group at Hyundai, and that together they would correct the problem. He kept the car overnight, and called the next day to say that Hyundai had authorized them to replace the transmission under warranty. Both Manny and his manager, Randy Wood, were very forthright and easy to deal with. I have always had great service from this dealership.I would recommend them to anyone considering service for their Hyundai or purchase of a new vehicle in the Franklin/Nashville area. Manny evaluates my service needs, and only makes recommendations when they are necessary. He is not trying to sell maintenance services when they are not needed. Factory recall appointment. Service representative estimated apprximately one hour but was finished in about 45 minutes. It was 1:30 PM when the check tires light came and the tires did not appear low to my eye sight. This is the first time this has happened in the 2 years of owing this car. Arrived at dealership approx. tires did not appear low to my eye sight. This is the first time this has happened in the 2 years of owing this car. Arrived at dealership approx. 2:15 PM very concerned and Manny said that it would take about 30 minutes to figure out the problem. Well within 45 minutes our car was read to go and the problem was the left front tire was 2 lbs. low. They put in the correct amount of nitrogen and we were ready to finish our shopping. Bought 2011 Sonata from dealership and it has 40,000 miles on it. The power door lock went out on the driver's side. Took car in for repair and it was still under warranty. The check-in people were great and the waiting lounge was comfortable with free coffee and snack. When I got my car back they had also fixed a safety call-back feature that I didn't know about until I got home and had received a notice in the mail that day. Also had them change my oil which I had a coupon for and 2 air filters. More
