After picking up the vehicle on Monday 10/14/24, I was grateful to have the car finally repaired after the 3rd attempt/appointment (i.e. 1st appointment I wasn't told that a diagnostic of the vehicle coul grateful to have the car finally repaired after the 3rd attempt/appointment (i.e. 1st appointment I wasn't told that a diagnostic of the vehicle couldn't be completed on a Saturday, 2nd attempt the diagnostic was completed/part ordered and the 3rd appointment was for the installation of the part. I was appreciative to have the car finally back with no indicator lights displayed on the dashboard. The very next day on 10/15/24, the owner of the car had to be picked up from the hospital, I was glad to be picking her up in her very own repaired car only to see the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT come back on outside of the ER. Not knowing whether to cry or be mad....I removed and replaced the gas cap to see if it was a fluke and hopefully remove the light from being displayed on the dashboard (as I am not a mechanic and was entrusting the dealership on 110 to find and repair this issue). So I parked the car for a few days and decide d to drive the car today only to see the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT back on. I don't know what to do at this point. The dealership was paid approximately $508 (after previously paying approximately $224 eariler) to fix this issue on Saturday 10/12/24. When they had a difficult time fixing the issue they held d the car over to Monday 10/14/24. All three indicators were supposedly fixed on 10/4/24... only to have the same issue of this light coming on and off as earlier as 10/15/24. This is my 4th time this year at Hyundai and I’m satisfied with the results of bribing my car here. As someone who relies on my car the Service department has been professional, courteous and accomm satisfied with the results of bribing my car here. Received a letter in mail urging me to schedule a recall appointment for back tail lights. Took off of work to drop my car off and was told it would take 3 hours at most. Dropped it off at 9AM. Was called 6 appointment for back tail lights. Took off of work to drop my car off and was told it would take 3 hours at most. Dropped it off at 9AM. Was called 6 hours later to find out that I never needed to bring the car in because the update was done over the air. Spent $50 to Uber from and to the dealership when I never needed to do so in the first place. Assuming no one will reach out regarding this experience. More
