Hyundai Service Dept in Santa Monica cheated me out of $255 and did no repairs. Randi in Service Dept refused to let me take my car unless I paid $255 with no repairs done. Randi lied about what I told him were the problems I was having (ESC light coming on). Instead he wrote down that I said the (check engine) light was coming on. I was there for an appt on Tuesday, 11/25/24 at 7:30 am. 4.5 hours later my car still hadn’t been looked at or diagnosed while I waited, while 5 other cars were being worked on. Randi said I had to pay $500 more after they order a part based upon a diagnosis that my car had a (check engine) light which kept coming on. I never ever said that the check engine light came on. I want my $255 back that I was forced to pay for no work done and for Randi making up check engine problem that didn’t exist, and for ordering a part for a (check engine) problem that did not exist.
