I was in a situation where I needed a ne In early January, Southern Oregon had back to back winter storms leaving several inches of snow to deal with. I was in a situation where I needed a new car immediately. I had been a previous Hyundai owner years before, and I had been using a Hyundai Accent rental car for 6 weeks, which reminded me how much I enjoyed their vehicles. On a Friday afternoon, as most of the city was still cleaning up the aftermath of the previous storm, I stopped in at Butler Hyundai and asked to be shown vehicles that could handle the snow and slush as well as dirt and gravel roads. Kyle Ellsworth greeted me with a snow shovel and a smile! Making sure I was on safe ground, he escorted me into the warm and inviting showroom and asked the right amount of questions to determine how he could help me. In short order, we narrowed my search to the Tucson AWD. After showing me the showroom model, we went for a very adequate test drive. Kyle explained the car's features, safety designs, and performance. When we returned to the showroom, I knew the paperwork would begin. In the past, I've had car deals take a horribly long time to complete, and I remember one experience where the dealership played so many games, we called the whole deal off and left. I knew that completing a car deal took time, but I was hoping it wouldn't be exhausting! Shortly, after filling out the customary application, I was told I would have no problem getting financing. They showed me my options and payments between purchasing and leasing. I agreed to lease and chose a payment I could be happy with. After I made my final decision, I could see the finance staff preparing the paperwork and contracts, and I was very relieved. I explained to Kyle that I needed to return the rental car I was using. The rental lot was located about 5 miles away. Kyle immediately offered to follow me in a separate vehicle and bring me back to the showroom. Within an hour, I had returned the rental and was in the finance office signing the final paperwork! The whole experience was professional, friendly, supportive, and even fun. The Butler staff were polite and genuinely glad I was there. Kyle called me a few days later to see how I was doing and if I had any questions he could answer. He also helped me make an appointment with the Service department for an additional service I purchased at the time of sale. My experience with Butler has been fantastic! I was also very pleased to receive a complimentary box of gourmet chocolates in the mail, making the deal that much "sweeter"! More
