Dissatisfaction I wasn't looking to purchase a vehicle and didn't have time this day to purchase anything due to prior obligations within the day. I just wanted to be I wasn't looking to purchase a vehicle and didn't have time this day to purchase anything due to prior obligations within the day. I just wanted to begin my look with different models and brands. Any vehicle I was going to buy would be for my son once he got his permit and than his drivers license. He's 14 years old now. I arrived at the lot approx 2pm with my son to just look at vehicles and familiar myself with knowledge of the different models available. My son sat in the different drivers seats for comfort (he's 5'11 at 14 yrs). I knew I had to take this son to a ball practice by 6pm and I had a board meeting at 630pm. I test drove a vehicle and found myself advanced to the waiting office to look at numbers. I told the salesperson about Sam's Club and I spoke with a Sales Manager and told him I wanted to take advantage of going thru Sam'sClubs auto purchase program and he told me I would only get about $1200 off and that he could have the amount reflected in the sale of the vehicle. I also mentioned to him "I believe I need to go to their website for prices and/or a referral". The vehicle interior color was not in stock but was enroute to the dealership per the salesperson who looked it up in the computer. The manager had the salesperson look for another vehicle on the saleslot to match my son's interior preference. Time was pressing and 6pm was fast approaching and I needed to leave. I signed the contract (which was very DUMB on my part!!!) and speed out to get my son to his practice. I went back to the dealership afterwards at approx. 830pm to pick up the vehicle. Next day I examined the contract and noticed the Sam's Club discount of $1200 was NOT even applied. I went to the Sam's Club website to research the auto buying program and discovered there was an even BIGGER discount than what I was told. Now knowing this piece of information does not sit well with me. I feel LIED to, even Scammed and pressured into buying this vehicle. The vehicle is an even higher priced vehicle due to interior than what I had expected to spend. I would have waited for the vehicle and model and color I wanted that was enroute however the salesmanager stated the car may not arrive in time and I may not be able to take advantage of my additional $500 military discount since it was only being offered during Memorial Weekend sales event. This again does not sit well with me. I read such wonderful comments and experiences on the IE Hyundai website and will soon add my comments of my dissatisfaction and experience. More

Chris was very knowledgeable and professional. He answered all my questions about the car and all of it's features. Although I didn't know Bill Treece was at Hyundai IE, I have bought 3-4 previous Hondas through him. It was great to see Bill again and I sincerely appreciate him for all he did to get me into the Santa Fe painlessly. More
