Unreasonable Requests I will start off by saying that others in my family have made purchases from this dealership in the past. Four vehicle by three different relatives, I will start off by saying that others in my family have made purchases from this dealership in the past. Four vehicle by three different relatives, as a matter of fact. That said, I am not sure that this dealer will receive consideration for future purchases by those same family members based on my recent experience. Went to this dealership to look at a vehicle that happened to be in the showroom. I knew what I wanted, and had gone there for that specific vehicle. The sales person was polite when I met with him and briefly spoke with him about the vehicle. I asked about test driving the vehicle and was told that they don't allow test drives of their more expensive vehicles without being sure that someone "qualifies and is able" to buy the car. When I asked for clarification, I was told that they would only allow a test drive if I was very serious and had a managers approval to take the vehicle for a test drive. I have never had this experience before in my life, and I have purchased about a dozen vehicles new and used. I refused to allow this dealer to run my credit or have me sign anything just to test drive a vehicle. What a poor way of doing business. You have cars on the lot, and could have made a sale, but to make such an unreasonable request just doesn't make good business sense. I understand trying to protect higher end vehicles from joyriders, but there are inherent risks that accompany selling cars and dealing with customers, and if you aren't willing to accept those risks, perhaps you're in the wrong business. To ask customers to sign something to test drive a car is an absolute insult and just plain stupid. The likely reason the vehicle remains unsold for nearly two months is due, in part, to the ridiculous policy in place. No sane individual is, or should, sign something for a vehicle without test driving it FIRST. Should the dealership management or owner read this review, please know that I have purchased similar vehicles new, and have been allowed to test drive them without hesitation. Quite simply, your policy is stupid and it is costing you sales. More

They beat my pre-approved interest rate and helped make the gift a total surprise by storing the car until I was ready to pick it up. A problem developed Sunday, Christmas day with her window switch that wasn't there when I had test drove the car previously. Took it back to them Monday, surprised they were even open Monday and they assured me they would take care of it. Their mechanic wanted me to leave it but I chose to have MB of Richmond diagnose and repair it. Being a non warranted problem, I asked Hyman if they would pay half the estimate? They chose to pay all the bill. That showed me they weren't out to stiff customers after the sale and made me feel better about how they do business. More
