Will NEVER come here again. Had a recall on the puddle lights for my Forester. I ended up going there four separate times and ultimately getting the lights disconnected instead of fixed. They offered to " lights for my Forester. I ended up going there four separate times and ultimately getting the lights disconnected instead of fixed. They offered to "fix the lights properly" but, since this was VISIT NUMBER FOUR, I told them to just take them out. The whole experience was frustrating. Visit 1 was to confirm I needed the recall, 2 was to put in the parts only to discover they didn't have everything they needed, 3 to do it right except they scheduled it on the wrong day and then the lights were back on that evening, and then 4. The only time anyone apologized was when I pushed for it. I don't know if it's a higher up management issue, but the experience was so bad I'll be actively steering (car pun!) people away from them. Subie Guy is so much more reliable, friendly, and treats you like a person. More
I was not looking to buy a new car on my visit to Virginia. My Son-in-law just happen to bring home a loaner Outback as his vehicle was in for scheduled maintenance. My wife I took our children out Virginia. My Son-in-law just happen to bring home a loaner Outback as his vehicle was in for scheduled maintenance. My wife I took our children out for dinner and we rode in the Outback, that's all it took. We discussed with our children about the process to buy their two Subarus and the quality of service they received and all was good. The next day we visited Hymans Bros. Subaru and purchased a 2021 Outback. The interaction with the salesman and the managers was very positive. After the paperwork was completed Mason Calhoun, the salesman, told us about the charitable program Hyman Bros. was involved in, we were glad to participate in this worthy cause. More

I call the 804-893-8900 number, phone is answered, then you are transferred to service. It is never answered, always leave a message. BIG INCONVENIENCE! When I am in the service center, the agents are very nice and friendly. Do they know this is going on? Always a lot of employees walking around when you are there. I suggest the management call their business to hear how the phone operator and service calls are handled. More
Sleazy practices So I bought an Outback from Pense Subaru. It had the flat 4 engine which Subaru knew had problems. Shame on me for not doing my due diligence. The car So I bought an Outback from Pense Subaru. It had the flat 4 engine which Subaru knew had problems. Shame on me for not doing my due diligence. The car started using oil at 17k miles. Coming back from New York my check oil light came on. Sure enough I had to add oil. I called Pense the next day and the service guy said it was normal. That said, one of the reasons I bought the car was the Engines and Transmissions for life program. I continued to take the car to the dealer to keep the warranty intact. Sooooo, Pense sells to Hyman. About a year ago Hyman decides they are going to discontinue the engines and transmissions for life program. I always thought that if one entity bought another they inherited the agreements too. Well, they dont pay for oil changes and state inspections any more. Not a problem truth be told. I plan on driving my car until the engine goes and will take the car to them letting them know I bought the engines and transmissions for life from Pense and they bought Pense. We shall see what we shall see. I have continued having all my service done at Hyman so I am keeping up my end of the deal. Lets see what happens! I will NEVER buy anything else from them and would recommend you take your business elsewhere too. More
