One visit my children were showing their age (at the time twins were 3 and a 1 year old) and one of the lady employees brought some coloring books in the lounge to help occupy them. That helped very much! I've been comfortable since day one going there since I purchased my van in 2012. Thank ya'll so much for making my visits a great experience. When we were ready to buy, we were turned over to the sales manager. I made a low ball offer and the sales manager acted insulted. I came up on my offer and he acted like we were still thousands below what it should be. (In fact, we were within $700 of what we would eventually pay at another dealer.) He told me I should "look at a car I could afford, like a Kia." We left frustrated. We ended up dealing with another dealer through TRUECAR.com and had a great experience and got a great car at a very good price. More
Another false promise I was looking for a Subaru Forester. After I put a quote request in a web site, I got a response from Pence Subaru, Richmond VA, stating that they hav I was looking for a Subaru Forester. After I put a quote request in a web site, I got a response from Pence Subaru, Richmond VA, stating that they have the model I want (Forester Premium XT 2.0) and provided a quote. I call them, and talked to Brandon "Tex" Haley, and he confirmed that they have the model I want, gave me eve better quote. Next day, when I went for the appointment to Pence Subaru, Tex and his sale manager told me that, they don't have the the model I was looking for. But they can sell me something else. I told them they mislead me by giving me wrong information and wasted my valuable time. I will never go back to this dealer again. More

False Promises Hi, I contacted Pence to purchase a 2015 Subaru Outback Limited Fully loaded and trade-in my 2014 Outback Ltd which had 650 miles on it. I was give Hi, I contacted Pence to purchase a 2015 Subaru Outback Limited Fully loaded and trade-in my 2014 Outback Ltd which had 650 miles on it. I was given false promises by the dealer stating that he would be able to get a GTP (Guaranteed Trade Program) value from Subaru. I was told to drive 2.5 hours and come to the dealership on the last day of October and was told that the GTP value will be honored even though the new car in the pipeline would take maybe 2 weeks to arrive (Because it’s the last day of the month). After driving for two and a half hours (2.5 Hrs) one way and reaching the dealership, I was told that the price would NOT be honored and that I would have to wait for the new car to come and get a new GTP value for the month of November. My information (Address, phone number etc) was taken to put in the new car order so that the car can be build quicker. I mentioned that this we could have done over the phone so that I didn't have to drive so far. I was told that Pence does NOT take information over phone and would not have been able to put my information for the car in the Pipeline. After couple of weeks, I was informed that Subaru made a mistake and that the GTP value would not be given until one year of ownership. This is precisely what I had mentioned initially in my email before I visited the dealership, upon which I was told that Pence is the 2nd largest dealership in VA and “has ways and means “to get the GTP value. Anyways, I was not even given an alternate quote for my trade-in to see if I can still buy the new car with just regular trade-in. Pence took 5 hours of my time away from my family and did not even attempt to keep its promises. It seems that they were just interested in getting the new car quicker to their lot and would do gimmicks to get customer through their door and NOT at all interested in the customer service. Some fault lies with me too since I trusted the Pence agents I worked with. Please be extra very careful & cautious when dealing with PENCE Subaru and re-verify all the facts and take it in writing when dealing with them. More

I know my service manager (Gary Shively) is expecting me at my appointment time, but even so, he acts as if he actually knows me and is happy that I have returned. He knows I want the best for my car and provides me with recommendations that I believe will prolong the reliability and life of my car. After having my car serviced, I feel safer knowing that my vehicle has been carefully examined and I can trust that the possibility of a safety or performance failure is remote. More

Great price and great customer service I called to get a quote based off of true car.com and spoke with Brent. He looked it up and told me he could beat it actually and quoted me $27099, fo I called to get a quote based off of true car.com and spoke with Brent. He looked it up and told me he could beat it actually and quoted me $27099, for a BRZ that include processing, only thing not included was tax and $22 for transfer of tags. I drove up from Norfolk after being played around with at Casey Subaru. It was well worth it, walked in and 30 minutes later had a great trade-in quote and price quoted exactly as he told me on phone!!! No hidden fees or anything!!! He was VERY straight forward!!!! If you need a Subaru call Brent and take a long drive if needed. More
