I have given the rating "5" for quality of work, friendliness, customer service, and overall experience because the two sales personell that assisted me in finding my car were exceptional individual friendliness, customer service, and overall experience because the two sales personell that assisted me in finding my car were exceptional individuals. First, they both greeted me with a smile, and to me it appeared that they were genuinely interested in helping me find a car, and they listened to what I needed and wanted in a car. They then showed me various cars, without making me feel pressured to buy a particular car, which is rare with this economy. They were also extremely patient with all of my questions. More
My wife and I went to the dealership a number of times while trying to decide between a Honda Pilot and a Toyota Highlander. Our salesman was Dan Dedoming and we liked him a lot. Very friendly and low k while trying to decide between a Honda Pilot and a Toyota Highlander. Our salesman was Dan Dedoming and we liked him a lot. Very friendly and low key. Note that my 1 to 5 ratings are for the dealership as a whole. If it was for Dan only, it would be straight 5s. We finally did buy a Pilot from Dan. My only complaint was that after putting down a deposit for the car, the finance guy tries to sell me a protective coating for the paint/undercoating for the car/protective spray for the upholstry. This was at a point when I might have been quite vulnerable, figuring that $300 was a small price to pay for a car that cost north of $30,000. Anyway, I told him in no uncertain terms that this should have been brought up before or not at all. In any case, I spoke to an auto body company where we live who I know has an excellent reputation in my town. He said absolutely don't get it. He also said that such protection was a good idea some years ago, but that now all cars were fully protected and that any additional treatment was a waste of money or worse. More
My purchasing experience with Hyannis Honda was very positive. The sales transaction involved trading in two, low mileage newer cars, for a used Honda. I presented an offer, we negotiated, agreed on a c positive. The sales transaction involved trading in two, low mileage newer cars, for a used Honda. I presented an offer, we negotiated, agreed on a compromise that resulted in the payment I needed to be at, and the deal was completed. The sales person was on top of the sale the entire time and communicated regularly. There was a week delay in the delivery due, in part, to me requesting a part be replaced, and, in part, with some, unexpected, delayed paperwork from the dealership. I received a free loaner for the entire week and some complimentary benefits after the sale. The car was delivered, impeccably detailed, with all approprate service up-to-date. Three weeks after the sale, I returned with a variety of questions about servicing the car, since I wasn't very familiar with this particular year Honda. The service department was extremely cordial and helpful, answering all my questions. I would recommend Hyannis Honda for sales and service and I plan on having all my service done there as long as I own the vehicle. More

I've purchased 3 cars from the same salesperson over the course of 10years and I've enjoyed everyone of them. Will Holland has been there every step of the way as our sales consultant at hyannis honda, he h course of 10years and I've enjoyed everyone of them. Will Holland has been there every step of the way as our sales consultant at hyannis honda, he has been a pleasure to work with and has made every transaction painless and hassle free. I drive a honda fit and its been one of the best vehicles I have every owned. My whole family drives honda's and the joke of the neighborhood is if its ok to pull in the driveway if they don't have a honda because there is usually 4 or 5 in the driveway at all times. The service dept at hyannis honda has been great there are times I want to get my oil changed and they are kind enough to tell me I'm not ready yet and to come back when the car tells me too. From sales to service its a joy to buy and car and see the same people year after year and the same service people to work on my car year after year. I can't say enough for the staff. thanks again hyannis honda, I will tell everyone I know about you guys sandy booth More
I wrote the review concerning my leaking oil pan. After I wrote the review concerning my leaking oil pan. After I filed a request for arbitration assistance with the Massachusetts Attorney Generals Office, I wrote the review concerning my leaking oil pan. After I filed a request for arbitration assistance with the Massachusetts Attorney Generals Office, my case was refered to the local (Cape Cod) Consumer Assistnace Council. They were helpful in providing a intermediary with the dealership. They sent my complaint through the Attorney General's office to the dealership upon which I soon heard from Mr. Raymond Rainy. Mr. Rainy was very reasonable and was willing to discuss the repair with me from a perspective that was fair. He stated that their policy in their shop is to always inform the customer when this particular problem happens with car and he also stated that his mechanic, who he vouched for as very reliable, did not recall installing the self-tapping screw in my oil pan. He apologized that this protocol was not followed in my particular case and offered to cover 1/2 of the cost of repair to my vehicle as a gesture of good will towards my continued patronage of his shop. I appreciate that he took the time to address this issue with me personally. My degree is in mechanical engineering, and I am still of the opinion that a steel self-tapping bolt in an aluminum pan with stripped threads is a poor fix to a vehicle as it would at best be a one time fix to a problem which needs to be addressed with a replacement part. I think the effort the shop put into making things right once I made a formal complaint indicates that they are very concerned about their public image and take seriously their role in being a fair broker to consumers. I will plan to use their shop in the future for honda repairs which are necessary as I prefer to have the vehicle serviced at a location where they are familiar with my vehicle, in this instance it didn't work out that way, but I am confident that was an exception to the rule. I brought Honda van in for service. As part of service they performed an oil change. After oil change, oil pan was leaking. I brought car to a local shop and they informed me that the dealer must have s they performed an oil change. After oil change, oil pan was leaking. I brought car to a local shop and they informed me that the dealer must have stripped the threads off the pan when they did the oil change as there was now a self tapping drain plug installed which was/is now leaking. Local service guy told me that they should have replaced the pan as stripping the threads is indicative of poor workmanship and self tapping bolts like this do not work well with aluminum oil pans as they should be aware as they tend not to seat properly Called Hyannis Honday and spoke with Patrick McPherson, he told me that it wasn't their fault. These pans strip all the time - sometimes after 5 sometimes after 100 oil changes - not their fault -- and they wouldn't pay for the damage that they did to the car during their service to it. Local guy is still shaking his head as I am I. I refered my complaint to the Massachusetts Consumer Complaint office within the Attorney Generals office. Needless to say - I won't go back and recommend that others find more responsible service departments to repair their vehicles. More
