If I could give a negative rating I would. Ever since this dealership has changed ownership the service sucks. I have had an ongoing issue with my check engine light since March of last year. Ever since this dealership has changed ownership the service sucks. I have had an ongoing issue with my check engine light since March of last year. At that time my Jeep was throwing a code for a small EVAP leak. They ran several smoke tests and stated there was no leak. Finally after 3 trips to the dealership they determined I needed a new filler neck. I have since had the filIer neck replaced but couldn't afford to pay them any more extra money for more of a run around because that didn't fix the problem. So finally I am able to see about getting it fixed and have been trying to get it looked at since the end of October. Had an appointment for November 3rd. Got a call from them the day before stating I would have to reschedule because the shop will be closed for renovations. So I schedule it for November 11th, only to be told again they will be closed due to the tropical storm. Reschedule for November 25th. Get a phone call today, no one leaves a message. I call the dealership thinking they are needing me to confirm my appointment for Friday only to be told that I scheduled my Jeep to be looked at on Thanksgiving and they are closed. I didn't make an appointment for Thanksgiving and the girl lied and stated I did. She then told me I could drop my vehicle off on Friday but they will need to keep it for at least two weeks because they are behind schedule. So basically because the girl scheduled my appointment for the wrong day, I get screwed. I will never do business with this dealership again! It's ok because I called and made an appointment with a different Jeep Chrysler dealership and they wanted to service my Jeep today and had no problem scheduling me for Friday!!! More
I sold a van with low miles and in great shape to Huston on Friday, August 26. The finance manager was not working that day and would be back Monday so the salesperson agreed to get the check sent from the on Friday, August 26. The finance manager was not working that day and would be back Monday so the salesperson agreed to get the check sent from the Avon Park dealership to the address in Lake Placid I requested as I was leaving town the next day. The check had not arrived as of September 1, six days later and two days past the expected date. I live out of state so I could not go to the dealership. I contacted the dealership, was transferred to a numbered voicemail and called back. I was then transferred to a Mr. Huston. I requested an update on the check to which he responded sometimes this takes time. I advised that the check would be cut on Monday, August 29 and mailed that day. He promised to call me back. I did not receive a call back. The check was finally delivered today, September 6 to Lake Placid, 11 days later and one week past the expected date. I am disappointed. The business processes of the dealership are clearly inefficient as is their communication. It appears my call to Mr. Huston got the issue resolved but I would not have known until I contacted the person to whom the check was mailed. Because the dealership still has not called me back. But the vehicle was put on their website seven days ago for sale. That they got done right away. More
