Appt took 3 month to get. The receptionist informed me of the cost for diagnostics of 155 per hour. I was on time for my appointment. But Arturo said “I know you have an appoi The receptionist informed me of the cost for diagnostics of 155 per hour. I was on time for my appointment. But Arturo said “I know you have an appointment but my guys are still working on cars from yesterday”. I waited 3 months with no air conditioning in Florida heat and the service center still wasn’t able to take my appointment on time. Arturo said it will be 179.00 total for diagnostics and not 155.00 per hour like I was previously told. I was told it would a couple hours. I had to call repeatedly and wasn’t given a time. One time all the car techs went to lunch, go figure! Then Arturo went to lunch. My last call I was told the car will be done around 3 pm. When I tried to pick up my car Arturo said it’s still not ready the guys need to put it back together. I was confused by that but he explained that he took the liberty of fixing a recall on the oil. He didn’t ask if I wanted it done. He just did it. Not even a phone call. Then he tells me that it’s empty of refrigerant now. I had it completely filled, over filled even before coming there. The 1234y refrigerant is very expensive and here’s the punch to the stomach…I had to pay 200 for a diagnosis I already knew and wait 3months and 7 hours and then because I came to your dealership I am now financially in the hole because my refrigerant was discarded for diagnostics that didn’t need to be done. it was the ac compressor. That’s exactly what I told him it was before I gave him the keys. I just need the compressor replaced. I don’t know why a customer can’t just have a part replaced. Why, if the problem is known, make the customer go through the months of heat just to tell them what i already knew. 7 hours later my car is still not fixed and I’m out 200 bucks and I’m no better off then before I came there, actually, I’m worse off. Arturo asked if I wanted him to order the part. He gave me an estimate of 2000 for a compressor. I declined and asked for the details of the estimate and he said he didn’t have one. Then handed me the details of the recall that I didn’t want done. Hence why I wouldn’t recommend that dealership to anyone except an enemy. And then I’d tell my enemy to make sure they ask for Arturo because they’ll get wonderfully competent and efficient service. More
