Worst shopping experience ever! These guys are crooks. They tried to sell me $5,000 in extended warranties on a 2012 vehicle and said additional warranties were required in order to secure financing. Wha They tried to sell me $5,000 in extended warranties on a 2012 vehicle and said additional warranties were required in order to secure financing. What a bunch of bull. When I discovered their deception, they refused to correct and/or adjust the loan. Subsequently I contacted the authorities and they went behind the scene and cancelled the loan without informing me. Unprofessional conduct of Robert Knowles the General Manager. So if the head is corrupt; the body follows! BUYER BEWARE! READ THE REVIEWS!! More
These guys should be investigated for felony fraud and conspiracy to commit fraud in my opinion. They lure people in from out of town with competitive deals in writing any time they are approached with conspiracy to commit fraud in my opinion. They lure people in from out of town with competitive deals in writing any time they are approached with a competitor's price they claim to beat it. Once they get you into town, that's another matter entirely. They refuse to finish the execution of a deal they've send IN WRITING and you've accepted even after all of the loan paperwork and other things have been put into motion. They work you with the old 1-2 punch and there you are........ having traveled many miles and NO car. Wear a wire and record every word from these lousy sacks. Unethical implies there is an understanding of what ethics are - this is highly doubtful. More

I found a 2002 BMW 330ci on the internet that had just been taken in by your dealership a few weeks ago. I contacted a sales person named Tanner Finkhouse and discussed this car with him. It had just been been taken in by your dealership a few weeks ago. I contacted a sales person named Tanner Finkhouse and discussed this car with him. It had just been brought in and pictures or cleaning hadn’t even been done on it. The car only had 35000 miles on it and Tanner told me he would find out more about it and call me back as I live South of Denver in Colorado. The car was in the service department being looked over and having an alternator replaced on it. I had conversations with Tanner about the condition and general state of the car and he told me he could only find 5 dents in the roof and trunk areas and the car had been checked out by BMW and it is as close to new as can be with only 35000 miles on it. You were asking $13800 and I told him I would purchase it at that as a total out the door price. Good for you guys. I noticed some dash lights on and asked him to make sure that no service lights or any dash warning lights were on. He said the rear brakes needed to be replaced and that the car may have had some hail on it. I asked him to fix the problems and make sure it had a service done as I had a 500 mile plus drive home and he said he would. I flew into town and he was kind enough to pick me up at the airport and drive me to your dealership. He told me there was good news and bad news. Good news you put new tires on the car as the old ones were causing it to drive funny. Bad news you didn’t get the dents out of the trunk lid. I said that was fine and we proceeded to your dealership. At the dealership I was able to see the car. Not bad but not exactly as described, the carpet had stains in it, the car had been washed but not waxed for some time, the seatbelt light wouldn’t go out, the console lid was broken but all stuff that I was willing to take care of. On the drive home I noticed the brakes acted funny when you stopped. After arriving home the service engine light was on along with the seat belt light. Here is what I I found out…. The front control arms, bushings and ball joints were all shot. The cam position sensor was bad. The thermostat was bad and would never close and would throw the code for slow warm up The driver’s seat belt was bad causing the light to stay on The trunk lights didn’t work because the wiring harness was broken The new brakes you installed squeak non stop And what frustrated me the most was there was no oil change done. When I went to do an oil change, as I have lost faith in your word, it was found that the oil was black, and the filter was crushed, damaged and stuck to the housing. It had to be cut to remove it. The oil had not been changed in some time. Control arms, bushings, ball joints and alignment $950 Can position sensor $220 Thermostat $225 Seat belt $210 Wiring harness repair $80 Oil change $75 I sent Tanner and email about all of this and never heard back from him. I asked why should I have taken a BMW being sold at a BMW dealership to another BMW shop to have it inspected? I am incredibly disappointed with the lack of inspection on a car that is a BMW being sold by a BMW dealership. When the tires were replaced as they tighten the lugs you can see the tires move because of the bad bushings. It is a sad state when you cannot trust the dealer. To date they know if my issues as this is the e-mial, minus a few lines, that I sent them and 2 weeks later till no reply. More
Wanting to charge me a "diagnostic" fee for a bumper to bumper full warranty. Not fixing the actual problem with the car. Not telling me about a recall that another Cadillac dealer found. No phon bumper to bumper full warranty. Not fixing the actual problem with the car. Not telling me about a recall that another Cadillac dealer found. No phone call back when one was promised. Didn't provide a loner car initially, even though this is what I asked for on the phone, (tried to use a shuttle service instead). Staff was not professional, didn't even open the bay doors to let me out of the center, didn't make sure I was satisfied when I left, really just all around horrible experience. More
Worst car shopping experience ever! If you're Worst car shopping experience ever! If you're looking for a car dealership that looks like it's on the up-and-up but feels just as sleazy as any run Worst car shopping experience ever! If you're looking for a car dealership that looks like it's on the up-and-up but feels just as sleazy as any run of the mill car lot, head to Husker Auto Group...especially if you want to waste a whole evening. They have incompetent, unknowledgeable, patronizing, shady, discourteous, annoying employees. I don't recommend ever giving them your phone number or other very personal information, unless you're lonely and want calls that keep coming no matter what. Unless they're the only ones who have the exact car you want, I highly recommend shopping elsewhere. It took 3ish hours, and we only got to test drive one car. Our salesman, while not inappropriate, tried to be funny or chummy or "relatable," and really just turned us off from buying even more with his off-hand, unprofessional comments. During the test drive, when I asked what certain things did in the car, he said he wasn't sure. After I figured out on my own what certain buttons or settings did or meant, he tried to play it off as "oh, yeah, I knew that, but I didn't want to say anything until we got back and I could look it up." The guy who was dealing with the offer was fairly unprofessional. He used ridiculous terms like "crazy money" or "stupid money" and then he seemed to talk down to my wife when his unprofessional and nonstandard terms didn't make complete sense to her. After he left to get us the "best deal," he never came back. We just had to sit there until our salesman finally went to see what happened. Since the offer guy couldn't give us anything close to what we were looking for, he just decided not to come back at all. Heaven forbid he at least have the courtesy to stop by and tell us that. We definitely weren't worth his time when he realized he wouldn't be making a sale that night. They definitely weren't busy there at the time either. For some reason, after many repeated times telling them my wife's last name changed after we got married when her car has been in for service, they cannot change her name in the system. When our salespeople tried to look stuff up, they couldn't find any information despite our giving them both her current name and her maiden name and telling them it would be under her maiden name. After a few failed attempts and saying they couldn't really find anything, our brilliant helpers finally tried her maiden name and found everything they needed. And now, they keep calling us! My wife and I have both repeatedly asked not to be called from Husker Auto Sales (the service department has been fine to deal with), and, yet, she still gets calls. "Oh hey! We got that one kind of car in that you were looking at. Why don't you come by for a test drive." We weren't interested in that car; it was the only one they showed us, and from that they just assumed that was the car we'd be buying! They have repeatedly pestered her about bringing in her car for a trade-in even though we've told them a few times we aren't interested in trading it in! How many "stop calling us" calls will it take for your sales people to stop calling us? Asking to be put on their do not call list really just slows the calls down. We've even asked the salesman to be specifically told not to call my wife anymore. Well, guess who kept calling at least a few more times! Our whole Husker Auto Sales experience has really just been like an ongoing bad dream. I can't imagine what would've happened had we actually been contractually related to them through a car purchase. I'm so glad we dodged that bullet and found a great car elsewhere. Please, can we finally break up now? It's over. Stop calling, Husker Sales. Service Department, we can still be friends as long as you're okay with us never wanting to hang out with your awful twin brother. More

BUYER BEWARE!! The old school used car stereotypes are alive and well here, at least with the Mercedes/BMW group. Very deceptive with customer service rating of zero based on a 1-10 scale. Purchased a one alive and well here, at least with the Mercedes/BMW group. Very deceptive with customer service rating of zero based on a 1-10 scale. Purchased a one year new $60k Mercedes, they covered up that it was a smokers car which I realized two days later when the cover-up wore off. Very dishonest, no disclosure principles, shady as they come. Go buy from someone else. If their practices include these types of activities, think how risky it would be to have them service your car (YOU CAN"T TRUST THEM). They all but admitted to knowledge of what they did with my vehicle, but wouldn't take it back. Pretended to be open to a trade, but lied about the only car I was interested in being sold when it's remains sitting on the lot. Then they offered to take it back less than a week after I purchased the vehicle for thousands less, stating it had depreciated and needed work. If you're looking for a BMW or Mercedes, particularly new, it would be well worth your time to look at Ralph Schomp BMW or Murray Motors BMW/Mercedes just a short drive away in Colorado (they are reputable). Buy from the Husker clowns at significant risk to your vehicle and financial well being. And absolutely stay away from Brian Niebrugge, if you feel compelled to give these cons your hard earned money, minimally work with someone else. More
This was the WORST experience that I've ever had purchasing a car. I was looking for a specific car for my wife. It took me about a month until I located one at Husker Auto Group. My sales rep Bi purchasing a car. I was looking for a specific car for my wife. It took me about a month until I located one at Husker Auto Group. My sales rep Billie Chapman says he has a 2013 MB C300 white exterior and black interior on his lot. Chapman & I email back and forth from 10/17 to 10/22 and agreed on a price and items to be installed in and on the car. We agreed I would purchase the car if my wife was happy with it after test driving it. First off, we make the 3 hour drive to Lincoln NE to test drive and possibly purchase the car if the test drive was a positive one. During the test drive my wife makes a comment that the car felt the same as the 2012 and she couldn't tell the difference between their 2012 and a 2013. Billie says put the peddle to the floor and you should be able to tell the difference, right, that didn't change anything. Once we get back to the lot, my wife looks at at inventory sheet and the car that we were negotiating was on a 2013 but of course this car was a 2012. Strike one. Secondly, one of the items we agreed on which was part of the sale price was illuminate door sills. Two days after we agreed on price and items, Billie Chapman sends me an email stating he wouldn't be able to do the sills because the price was higher than he expected. He told me the price and I responded by telling him that the price he quoted me is twice as much as MB website. Billie Champman says he looked up the wrong part and the price I told him was correct but he should've looked up the sill price before agreeing to it. He went back to his boss Ryan Mathis and of course they didn't honor the door sills we agreed on. Strike two. Thirdly, the other item was the car was supposed to be a Certified Pre-Owned car which carried an extra year or up to 100,000 miles which ever occurs first. So even though we didn't get the door sills or a 2013 C300, my wife still wanted the car. We're sitting in the finance office to pay for the car and we ask them to provide paperwork that the car is in fact a CPO. The finance guy Justin Bryceson calls someone and he verifies the car is a CPO but it would take some time to get the paperwork says Justin. That should've been a red flag and left on the spot. We continue on to purchase the car. We told Chapman that we would be purchasing the car with our credit card, I love those cash rewards, lol. So we're in the finance office and Justin Bryceson explains we can't purchase the car with a credit card because of NE state laws. So after a minute or two, it was decided that Husker Auto Group would drop off the car at my resident the upcoming Friday and I would give the transporter a cashier check. Strike three. Fourth and final disaster, two days before delivery of the car, Chapman sends me an email stating that MB will not let them certify the car. I call the manager Ryan Mathis and of course he gives me reasons why this is the case. I could care less at this point because this company and their practice is a complete joke. Not only did they not honor our deal, Chapman was so cowardly, every item he revoked on, he didn't even have the decency to call me, he sent emails. Strike four, I know. Fifth thing was the car was delivered without a set of MB key chains that was supposed to be part of the deal. We've had the car since 11/2/12 and we still haven't received them. I emailed Ryan Mathis this morning and he said Billie Chapman will send them out today. If a dealership can't even honor a simple item like sending key chains with the transporter, which they failed to do or mail them to us in a timely manner, what does that say about their professionalism. In closing, I wished I had read these reviews as well as others before dealing with Husker Auto Group because if I did, I would've never contacted this dealership. They are by far the most unprofessional and revoking dealership I've ever dealt with. I have never experienced anything like this before. If I was purchasing this for myself, I would've left when we noticed the car was a 2012 and not a 2013 but my wife wanted the car. I will be purchasing another MB in the near future for myself and you can rest assure, it won't be from Husker Auto Group. I gave them a 3 on friendliness because of the transporter. The transporter was the only good thing about this whole experience. My wife loves the car and at the end of the day, that's all that matters but my review is simply stay away from Husker Auto Group.
