A tradition of great service My wife and I have been patrons of Tom Peck Ford for the last 3-4 years since moving to the area, first as owners of a 1996 Mustang GT - a vintage car My wife and I have been patrons of Tom Peck Ford for the last 3-4 years since moving to the area, first as owners of a 1996 Mustang GT - a vintage car the service department and quick lane kept running like a top, and second, when it came time to trade in the old Mustang for a newer one, a 2013 Mustang GT, which we just purchased. Sorry, don't have their names, but a quick shout-out and "well-done" to the guys at the Quick Lane for caring for my old high-mileage (224,000) 1996 Mustang GT, and for the free tire repair when I traded it in. Great job, guys, I'll definitely be back. You rock! Great service, fairly priced, done right the first time. Ditto for the service dept. itself; they have always done well by us. Tom Hanson in Sales and Roger Svab in Finance did a job every bit as good. Tom waited patiently while my wife and I tried out the potential new vehicle, and answered all of our questions and concerns in a friendly yet professional manner. I am a tough customer when it comes to automotive sales people; if I don't like/trust them, I won't do business with them - period - no matter what the car. Tom passed that test with flying colors. We will recommend him to others, without qualification. Many thanks to Roger for helping us navigate the ins-and-outs of the paperwork and administrative aspects of purchasing the vehicle. We sure are glad he knows how to do that stuff, because we sure don't! We enjoyed listening to the guys rib one another while completing the sale. Free comedy, what more can you ask for? I've been waiting a while for the right Mustang to show up on your lot, and my wife and I are very pleased that it finally did, a black 2013 Mustang GT in pristine condition. Once I decided on a specific car I found your dealership online and called the toll free number and initially spoke with a salesman who answered all of my questions. Explained what I was looking for and he did a great job. Explained I was calling from out of state and very serious. The salesman asked what it was going to take to earn my business and I told him. The salesman made sure he could get the deal done. and was also a perfect 10. Two hours later I decided to drive 479 miles to Tom Peck Ford in Huntley, Illinois to get my new car. When I arrived the salesman showed me the car and then we took the vehicle for a quick road test. I smiled and said "Yes". Filled out the paperwork, and then walked out to my new vehicle. The salesman placed the in-transit into my window, shook my hand and I drove away a satisfied, happy customer. Well worth the drive and investment. Told the management team at Tom Peck Ford how fortunate they are to have such great employee's. I spent four days looking at dealerships across the United States and felt nobody wanted to work with me and made me feel awful. Told my father I was going to throw in the towel cause my experience was not pleasant. My father said lets look one more time and the Tom Peck Ford staff restored my faith that good car dealerships still exist on this earth.
