Scheduled an appointment for today and upon meeting the salesperson, his lack of knowledge, unprofessional behavior and demeanor, being extremely pushy and rude caused me to leave. From out of state, it took 3 days and 5 calls before I got a callback. Truck listed on multiple internet sites and the Huntley Ford site at $39939, with no mention that you must finance with them. We have been trying to purchase a car for 5 days and have yet to hear back from a salesperson! Financing already approved and just needed to talk to a salesperson to complete the sale. This review is based solely on working with the finance department. Worst experience yet when it came to buying a new or used car. The finance department completely dropped the ball on handling the pay off of my traded in vehicle. Bought our 2016 Ford Explorer on 8/6/2021. I continued to get harassing phone calls and text messages from our old loan on the recently traded in vehicle. I started contacting Sayf and/or Patrick in the finance department only to get absolutely 0 responses. I started texting Mike to see about getting ANY sort of reply. Mike was gracious and would reply to my texts and do what he could to help. It wasn't until sept 1st that i was advised the new loan needed to verify my employment. It took a full month to let me know of this???? I had all pertinent information to Sayf in finance the very next morning. Come to find out they then mailed out a paper check via SNAIL MAIL on 9/7/21. Again-- OVER A MONTH SINCE I TRADED MY OLD VEHICLE IN. in this day in age there is no reason why this transaction couldn't have been done electronically. I finally confirmed that the payoff was received and applied on 9/14/21. Unacceptable. Worse service ever when it comes to the financing of a newly purchased vehicle. It will be a long time before we ever buy a car through this dealer again - if ever. More
