Spent a long time telling the salesman what I wanted in an F-450. He then convinced me that the truck I was looking at wasn't the one I should get and convinced me to buy a different model telling me it h an F-450. He then convinced me that the truck I was looking at wasn't the one I should get and convinced me to buy a different model telling me it had what I wanted. I purchased the new truck instead of the used one I originally wanted. We closed the deal after hours on a Saturday. When I went out to leave in the new truck my wife and I realized it didn't appear to have the FX4 package we needed and wanted. When we got home I pulled the sticker off of the internet as I didn't get one from the dealership. I realized then that there were other features that I needed and wanted that weren't on it. The salesman knew I wanted these features. I brought the truck back before they opened on the following Monday and was told they would not take the truck back but would take it on trade for the used model I originally wanted if I gave them another $5,000.00. This is the reason I don't trust car salesman. They had no interest in making this right or fixing their mistake. I will never buy anything from them again. They are only interested in making a profit and not interested in customer satisfaction. More
Definitely a used car bait-and-switch high-pressure sales shop. They claim the advertised price is a finance price, and you didn't read the fine print. But there is no fine print anywhere on the website the shop. They claim the advertised price is a finance price, and you didn't read the fine print. But there is no fine print anywhere on the website they advertise the prices, just in some paperwork hidden in some drawer at the dealership somewhere. Expect to pay $6k more. They keep trying to sell a conditioning package which is overpriced and unnecessary, and sell after-market warranties that are double the average you'd had you simply purchased a Carfax warranty yourself. And you want a warranty from this place, because it appears their standards of what they sell on their lot is low. They don't return emails, they don't return calls, if you catch one, expect a promise to look into it, with no response. No one takes ownership of the consumer experience overall, they are only interested in baiting you with a shiny used car, then taking you to the town on the terms of the deal. Once the deal is done, good luck. You expect they make a profit, but not to scam people. You also agree to mediation and granting away your rights to sue in court (for good reason on their end) when signing the paperwork. Also, the paperwork is all done on abbreviated tablet screen without the full terms of the paperwork made available until after you complete the transaction. If you get a hunch they are being dishonest, immediately walk away from the transaction - your instinct is correct. Remember, unless it is a signed legal document, it means nothing - no handshake or verbal agreement means anything. I can't believe this dealership is operating like a used corner lot from the mid-80s, but hopefully they will change their ways as more people get wind. New ownership or not, it is the same crooked place. I'd blame the sales people, but let's be honest, the culture and what is accepted comes from the general manager and the owners: Mr. Abe Kittaneh, Sales Director Yevgeniy Khayenko, Manager More
Reed the reviews before I went to Huntley Ford but wanted to see for myself. Went in on a used Ford F-150. Test drive the vehicle and I dealt with Jon. Huntley sucks! This joint is truly a bait and switch operation. I regret not reading the reviews before contacting Huntley. They will not honor the advertised price This joint is truly a bait and switch operation. I regret not reading the reviews before contacting Huntley. They will not honor the advertised price. They jack the price, in my case around 4k, with a ridiculous extra I think they called, an NIF. When asked what the NIF was, they replied, now get this, marketing. They will then scrub the NIF cost from the paper work and just add it to the price of the car. Abe, the so called manager, is an arrogant liar. Joe B, the salesman is rude and just as dishonest. I'll be filing a complaint with the Ford Motor Co.. More
Worse dealership ever. Please don’t waste your hard earned dollars here.Their only motto is ‘deceit’ and everyone practices it to the core. Vehicles are of terrible quality Please don’t waste your hard earned dollars here.Their only motto is ‘deceit’ and everyone practices it to the core. Vehicles are of terrible quality, could also pose safety risks. They don’t do any inspection before selling but will try to add thousands of dollars to ‘recondition’ fees. Even worse used car salesmen from other places would be shamed with the practices employed at this place. They won’t even acknowledge that they sold you a bad vehicle . I wonder how these people actually sleep peacefully at night after constantly cheating during the day. More
very pleased with my purchase at Huntley Ford. It was a very busy Saturday, but our salesman did a great job keeping us up to speed on the process and made us feel like we were at home. Been in process of buying a car here, signed the paperwork and financing application, been waiting on my sales man to finish up the deal 2 hours later sales man came and told me they sold the car to paperwork and financing application, been waiting on my sales man to finish up the deal 2 hours later sales man came and told me they sold the car to someone else, after pulling my credit and adding a hard inquiry on credit report. Cancelled 2 moth service contract and lost $4700. I cancelled a service contract shortly after buying a used car from Huntley Ford.Had car for 2 months and cancelled maintenance contract. I did rec I cancelled a service contract shortly after buying a used car from Huntley Ford.Had car for 2 months and cancelled maintenance contract. I did receive $1800 refund shortly after the termination of the contract but was suprised and disappointed in the amount. I bought the car late Oct early Dec and started cancellation process early January. Basically 50 or 60 days on a 72 month contract For starters I told salesman I did not want a Maintainance contact several times but his reply was take the contact and drive car for a couple months until you are confident there is nothing wrong then cancel the contract. Actually seemed like a good idea so I caved and said ok. I also said I wanted to pay cash and was then offered a $1000 discount on price of car.my rationelization take the thousand and pay car off next week. That was my mistake. I lost $700 in first 2 pmts I had not financed a car in many many years but is still my mistake. I have called Huntley Ford over 6 times and left name, number and reason for call and asked for a return call. I did this over a 2 week period allowing days off, being busy etc. No return calls. Very unprofessional A$6500 , 60 month contract and receiving a $1800 for 2 months of coverage is ridiculous is outrageous. Bythe way I financed the $6500 total in purchase price. I planned on slight penalty but not to this extent. They insisted on a personal presence in signing the termination contract. I asked about a electronic signature but no deal. I live 150 miles from the dealer and was under Drs care for a health issue and that made the trip impossible for a couple weeks. I cannot afford a $5000 ripoff I did verify that the $6500 figure was in the financing. They could not tell me what the dealer did was that amount but it was sent to them. Thank You for hearing my tale of woe and listening to my complaint. I also apologize-for my typing I'm from the old school. Thanks Again, John Wheeler, 309 338 6606. More

Drove the vehicle and it was nice, check engine light was on. Sat down and made a no haggle full price offer on the vehicle dependent on the check engine light issue being resolved. Salesperson came back with an otd price on the vehicle close to $30k. Price included over $5k of non negotiable add ons, at least $2800 of which was for reconditioning fees and inspection; WHICH HAD NOT BEEN DONE. not only were they not at all willing to negotiate on this item, they insisted that they advertised their vehicles at 10% lower than other competitors. The $2800 inspection and reconditioning had not been done, however, they were still advertising the vehicle at 21,500, without the option to even buy at that price unless it was completely as is with check engine lights not serviced. (check engine codes were EVAP, Mass Air, and something related to the body control module, yet dealer said it was no big deal and minor, 3 codes at least) Keep in mind they probably also took money off of the "fresh" trade in to the previous owner due to the check engine light issue. Absolutely horrible experience, wasted an entire evening and emotions, beyond pissed about this. To add insult to injury, the salesperson brought out his boss. Farheed or Farid or something, who condescendingly came out and told myself and my father that "thats how it is". "we advertise our vehicles 10% less thatn everyone else" (but require you to pay 12-13% over asking price before tax title license and doc). We have purchased every make model and price range of vehicles in the past 30 years all throughout Chicagoland, both myself and my father agreed that this was the worst impression we have had in any experience hands down. Not only did they lose out on this purchase, but also on the potential purchase of another $70k Audi on the lot. Wow. Thanks guys. I can only imagine the %25 markup on the Audi. More
