I spoke to Joe; I actually interrupted him while he was busy with a delivery. As always Joe's attention to all of us, his loyal customers, was complete and seamless. Nino is the Volvo professional against whom I rate all other auto mechanic specialists. I call him Dr. Gambino because no matter what is in need if repair or servicing it is Nino who I know will care for my car as if it is a member of my family in medical crisis. Bernie took care to provide us with great service, very personalized and at the same time very professional. Bernie went above and beyond to meet our requests and to get the deal done to everyone satisfaction. Bernie was a pleasure to dealt with. Then there was the Sales Manager Frank. Frank was another pleasure to work with; Frank too went above normal expectations to give me a wonderful deal, one were I felt was more than fair. There was no pressure, and Frank paid attention to what I want. and went out there and got it for me. I have to thank Frank for our great new vehicle. Last, but not least, was the finance manager - Dave. Dave was knowledgeable, and totally thorough, clear, and upfront, There was no pressure, just total professionalism and courtesy. I am in and out of his office in no time (and it was not rushed). This was the first time in all of my car buying years of dealing with the finance department that was actually pleasurable. Most of the process was actually done over the phone, so I just had to go in to sign documents, and there was no hidden costs on the actual signed document. The team at Huntington Volvo is one of the best, and they are a well-oiled machine, I am glad that I traveled the thirty miles to visit them, because it provided a great opportunity to meet a wonderful team and get a great vehicle. Like having a relative in the business!!! I came into Volvoville to make arrangements to lease another Volvo. Most people find interacting with a car dealership like a tug of war , trying too I came into Volvoville to make arrangements to lease another Volvo. Most people find interacting with a car dealership like a tug of war , trying too get what you want at the most advantageous price. Eddie Ferrari has his own unique way of turning what would normally be an unpleasant stressful endeavor into a smooth comfortable experience, like getting together for a social function with an old friend. Instead of the haggling that goes on in many car dealerships, Ed went out of his way to find out what I wanted in my new lease , and offered me their best price upfront. He made recommendations of which options I would enjoy and which I might not. He even went as far as to show me something I was not even aware of, that there was a wheel option available at virtually no cost that was a stylish upgrade, without the extreme low profile tires that might risk easy pothole damage and were far more costly to both purchase and repair.. Unlike a lot of places, he showed me that in less wait time then expected he could have a car custom built for me, making exactly what I wanted, rather then try to pigeon-hole me into something more convenient for them already sitting in stock. He showed me certain available options that would be convenient and advantageous at minor increase in cost. I don't think anyone could have made this transaction any more comfortable. I was uneasy that a recent credit transaction might have negatively impacted my credit report and that I might have been told that I would not qualify for an advertised promotion price because of it. Eddie took my credit information to their financing specialist who quickly analyzed the information, ran my report and came back to us, while still at Ed's desk to politely inform me that I fell well within their parameters for the rates Ed had quoted to me. There was absolutely no game playing of the type people experience elsewhere, of telling people they don't qualify for the promotional rate but can have the car, but at higher cost. I saw no intent to play any such games at this place. Also, Ed obviously had the discretion and latitude of the dealership to make the deal directly with me. It appeared obvious that those parameters had been set out by their management well in advance so none of those actions were done in front of the customer, making the transaction so much smoother and far more efficient. There was none of the circumstance often cited by customers as occurring elsewhere, where the salesman has to keep running back to the manager to ask permission for each step, like a child asking the teacher for permission to go to the lavatory. Absolutely none of that here. All of this even took place at the end of the day on a holiday weekend, when most sales staff would want to go home, with no rush or stress to get me to leave. It was obvious that his only real concern was that I depart satisfied that all my needs and questions were addressed and that I did leave pleased, not in any way agitated. I would recommend Mr. Ferrari to even the most critical of consumers, and doubt that anyone will find fault with the way they are treated by him. Its very obvious that he is not just looking to make a quick deal, but rather to cultivate a relationship, like a true professional, where the consumer is happy to come back when the lease is due for termination , looking for their next vehicle, which is what I expect to continue to do. More
