I had been looking for a new mini van for some time and was not happy with how I was treated by many of the other dealerships in the area. I happened upon Huntington Jeep by chance which was my good fortu was not happy with how I was treated by many of the other dealerships in the area. I happened upon Huntington Jeep by chance which was my good fortune. I greatly appreciated the no-nonsense strait forward manner with which I was treated by everyone there, especially the Business Manager. Even my husband who is not very trusting of car salesmen acknowledged the entire transaction was wonderful. I am so happy with my new Dodge Mini-Van and the people who sold it to me, I have already referred two close friends to Huntington Jeep Dodge. Thanks Guys! More
I had an all around great experience with this dealership. A blessing that I found them after I had bad experiences with 4 previous dealerships that I was considering. All the others put undue pressure on me and tried to sway my decisions to benefit them somehow by unloading something existing on their lot. Howard at Huntington put no pressure on me whatsoever and helped me build the awesome 2012 Wrangler Unlimited with AEV Off-Road Package that I really wanted. Although Howard was my main contact at Huntington, there were 3 or 4 other people that I had words with that were very nice and helpful as well. The owners son is also an avid off-roader that kept an eye on my vehicle and gave me great advice. If you are considering a Jeep Wrangler or especially one that's equipped with AEV parts I highly recommend you don't waste your time going elsewhere. Rob More
Unfortunately this is the closest dealer to my house but I could not buy a vehicle from them. After doing an extensive search they could not find a vehicle that fit my specs. Then one was found the next wee I could not buy a vehicle from them. After doing an extensive search they could not find a vehicle that fit my specs. Then one was found the next week when I went back and they realized I was serious but the price was nowhere near where I thought it should be and they seemed unflexible. I feel it was totally due to the fact that they had to "swap" the car and they were disinterested in doing that and more interested in selling a car on the lot or ordering a new one. I left a message and sent two follow up emails to my contact with no reply. I then contacted another nearby dealer who virtually did the same thing. It seems that they wanted to sell what they have and dont care what you want as the consumer. I then scoured the Jeep website for hours until I found a vehicle that met my specs, I contacted the dealer (out of state) made the deal within minutes on the phone and went within a week to pick it up. I am now a happy Jeep owner and wrote a stellar review for the dealer I purchased through. Funny thing is that I believe this car was the same car that Huntington tried to sell me for almost $4,000 more than the price I paid, in fact it was advertised on the out of state dealers website for thousands less!!! I flew there and drove the car back for less than $150! More
I had a horrible experience with this dealership. They made a deal with me, and after contracts were signed tried to change the deal.. I could go on about it, not showing up for appraisal appointments, no made a deal with me, and after contracts were signed tried to change the deal.. Offering me money for my trade in and changing their offer after I handed over my money and signed on the dotted line... Telling me my previous car, which I purchased at the Bayshore Jeep dealership in 2006, was not the car I was sold. That a plackett was put on my car freudulently, things I have never heard of, or conceived. Then after I took back my deposit, and gave back the contract, the salesman offers me money directly for my car, tells me to drive home my new Overland, and come back in the morning with my old Grand Cherokee. He will give me the money at this time. Well, no way was I driving home the new car, this sounded insane to me. SO I leave the dealership with no new car, but with a promise of $5000. from the salesman for my old car. Come the next morning, I receive a text saying that his finances would not permit him to pay me the $5000. , but only $3600. for my car. Well you can imagine how jerked around I felt, I am a business owner, I DO NOT DO BUSINESS THIS WAY... I wrote a letter to Chrysler, two weeks ago, with no response. You tell me, is this any way to run a business. I don't think so. More
